Alice is quite the chameleon 👍

Good review 👍 . I saw Alice in 1982 in London and it was a great show, even though he looked so sick, like he was going to collapse. I'm so glad he overcame his addictions. Special forces is definitely in my top 10 Alice albums, though it took me a long time to realise that. On first listening to it I actually thought it was awful, but it gets better and better the more you listen

Thanks! So awesome you saw him in that time period. I agree about Special Forces growing on you. I’ve got the live album from that tour and those songs have definitely grown on me.

I would take that album. Special Forces is in my top 5 AC albums. Got me into Cooper.

That’s cool. Everyone has that one album that got them into an artist and usually it’s always special to them. Thanks for watching.

I saw this tour in Chicago. It was scary how bad he looked back then, but he beat his demons and came out on the other side. I picked up this, but much like the album, it's kinda what I expected. I'm a completest, so I needed it.

Hopefully you got to see him again when he was healthy. Still pretty cool that you saw him back then. I think 86 was first year I saw him. Love your KZfaq name 👍

@@vikingbrace Saw him first in 73 on Billion Dollar Babies tour, and 13 other times since. Advantages of being 65 and living in a big city. Thanks!

Was hoping someone would review this live album.I passed on this record store day and bought the live Cheap Trick instead which is awesome!

I got both but I enjoy the CT album much more! Thanks for the comments!

The Cheap Trick was much better than the Alice Cooper as far as record store day releases.

@@TheWinston7777 I have to agree with that. Thanks for tuning in 😊

a magnificent release unforgettable if you were actualy there, needed a better sleeve though but some great concert photos are available, then some blu tack and your away

Did you get to see this tour? That would be pretty cool 😊
@juliataylor26233 жыл бұрын
yes it was absolutely unforgettable, glasgow still loved him even after a seven year absence, but backstage he was practically at deaths door

@@juliataylor2623 I love that Alice always throws in a couple of obscure tunes with all the hits. It’s great that you got to see him back then. You’re right about him looking bad during this period. It’s hard to even look at pictures from this time. Thanks for the comments!
@juliataylor26233 жыл бұрын
if you have it you should review the live el paso the sister tour arguably even better.

I actually don’t have that one although I’ve heard some of it on KZfaq. Kind of hard to tell from that how good or bad it actually sounds.

@@vikingbrace on cd its only 6 bucks, but its great to hear only ever once performed Dance Yourself To Death, a great Gutter cat vs the Jets, with Alice doing his Elvis tribute very unique concert

@@vikingbrace its a radio broadcast like the glasgow one so recording quality is very good

Part of me wants this album, and another part doesn't. I am a huge AC fan (with Special Forces being in my top 10 albums by him), but I'll be lying if he doesn't sound ready to collapse and die on this record. Definitely not his greatest. Just very fortunate he survived.
@vikingbrace3 жыл бұрын
I can’t disagree with any of those comments 🤷🏻♂️ Just glad he made it through. Still rocking today! Thanks for watching ✌🏻

Saw the live performance in London, Not Alice's greatest era

Alice always has something interesting in every era but I agree this definitely isn’t his best time. Still cool that you saw him during this time period. Thanks for watching!
