Alice Margatroid, the Seven-Colored Puppeteer, and a character that received one of the most extreme changes from canon to fanon. Going from a fairly reclusive dollmaker to a crazed yandere hungry for some "ordinary" witch booty.
This video is a bit different, as I wanted to experiment with some sprite animation a bit more. You guys liked the last one (especially on TikTok), and I wanted to try to up my skills as that wasn't really "animation."
I do plan on becoming the "kitchen sink" type of video creator in the Touhou community, where I don't really adhere to a single type of editing style. I'll alternate between sprites and my usual "keyframed PNGs," although I have considered learning MMD to increase diversity.

I have yet to figure if Fanon Alice exists because of the Fandom’s tendency to ship Marisa with literally everyone she befriends or the Fandom’s tendency to ship Marisa with literally everyone she befriends spiraled from Fanon Alice. Though at the end of the day, it's fanon, that's the whole point ig. just to clarify, I also don't like that portrayal of alice, I prefer her more cold portrayal, but I doubt that's more canonical either.

Alice stalking and obsessing over Marisa in a "yandere" kind of way is so out of character to me. My own personal fanon of Alice is that she is a considerate, polite, humble, generous and well-educated girl who speaks in a cute English accent and is one of Marisa's best friends.

I think I've figured out where the fanon came from. Basically there was once a time where zun included some fan made, non canon mangas inside an official literature release, and one of those mangas includes alice being in love with marisa. This is also probably the same manga that spawned the 'alice stole the prescious thing' video given that that was both pretty much the plot of the story and the punchline of the story.

To be fair Reimu IS broke (maybe not to the extent of fanon version), and is frequently greedy. But at the end of the day if there's a need for a hero, Reimu will not hesitate to play the role, and she's not that bad at it either!

Fannon Aice, Falice (oh hey that's a fun word to say) is my favorite character. I was introduced into Touhou by my friend asking me to be in a Touhou Story he was writting. Fannon was obviously stronger in that, but it made me like Touhou and biased to a Tsundereish/Yanderish Alice. Cannon Alice is also cool. Turning into a Magician through magical practice is pretty neat. It's unfortuante that i have hormones and have to look into the side of the community that is related too, because I dont like seing Alice turned into dolls and/or hypnotism. *Le-sigh* atleast I can sim- I mean admire her with rose tinted glasses.
