I heard Alice Merton on WFUV, the tri-state area's Progressive music radio station this past Valentine's Day. I kept repeating the lyrics in my head, so that I would be able to "KZfaq" her, and haven't been able to stop listening to her songs. Her ability to convey an honest emotional front, w/ lyrics that haunt ( like gypsies in the night* from her mesmerizing song Roots.). Glad to have discovered her now, she has been looping on my youtube playlists for days...Her music is like 's like a magical Valentine's Day gift I gave myself.
