It all started with a pair of pants... While walking by a fabric store in NYC, Stacy saw a wild & funky striped upholstery fabric. She purchased a few yards of the material. At the advice of a friend, she sought out a pattern maker/seamstress and commissioned a pair of pants that were the same dimensions as her favorite pair of jeans. The result was a hip and unique pair of pants that garnered attention every time she wore them. "Everywhere I went people would stop me and say "Where'd you get those pants?"," she says. She started making them for her friends and sold to her first store after the boutique owner saw her and approached her in public and inquired about them.
That was only the beginning of Alice and Olivia, now in addition to the pants, there are Alice + Olivia dresses, shoes, accessories, and even an Alice Olivia children's line.
In addition to the 800+ specialty stores selling the clothing, there are 8 Alice + Olivia Boutique stores with multiple locations in New York, California, and Connecticut.
