The amount of smart and consummate musicianship that is going on in this video is so, so underrated. This is what it is like to watch pop musicians work at the top of their game. There is talent oozing off even the nooks and crannies of that stage.

Alicia and John are among a few artists in the early 2000s era that have elevated themselves to all-time greats with all time-classic songs. I can easily imagine people still vibing to If I Aint Got You and Gravity some 30-40 years from now, in the same way that we are still vibing to timeless 70s and 80s songs from time to time.

When Mayer plays guitar you can tell that he is consumed entirely by the music. Beautiful.

You can tell that Alicia, John, backup singers and musicians love what they do. There's no faking that.
