Nice video man! Some excellent facts about the film and the book! Interesting to know that ADF didn't know what the Alien looked like, so couldn't describe it in the novelisation, and the fact that Sigourney Weaver took a real and unexpected slap to the face does explain her heightened energy in the scene. What a pro! Looking forward to the next review!

Thanks! Yeah ADF wasn't given much to go on and only early Giger sketches. Was well impressed Weaver managed to carry on her lines giving an angry and emotional response. Legend. Next video coming this weekend.

The information and photos of the facehugger was interesting. If anything that "plucked turkey" looked equally as disturbing as the spidery final version. Nicely researched and presented 👍

Yeah the turkey is a bit surreal. I read that Ridley Scott actually laughed at it, upsetting HR Giger a little. Thanks for you comment bud and your input over the last couple of months.

Great channel! Recently discovered you, and subscribed. I read this novelization back in 1979 before seeing the flick, but never reread it. But I never forgot how ADF started the book, commenting on "seven dreamers," but they weren't "professional dreamers." It's a totally throwaway concept that never gets mentioned again, but has stuck with me since.

Hi. Yes it's a great introduction. He keeps up the dreamer motif for the trilogy. The first third of this book is well written for the character dialogue and interaction. Thanks for watching and the sub! 👍
