It's because most people only know them for Smooth Criminal and Movies. I hadn't heard Truant until around a year ago and now it's one of my favourite albums!

Just saw these guys 10 days ago in Providence, Rhode Island...fucking blew the roof off of the place!! Next show in Boston in a month or so. Got to meet singer Dryden Mitchell and drummer Mike Cosgrove after the show. Like Steelbender191 states below..GREAT guys and very down-to-earth. Can't wait for their new album this February 24 (Always and Forever)!

Anthology and Truant are my favorite AAF albums. But what went wrong? These guys deserved the sucess and achievements.

The King Of Strong Style X Up in the Attic is a great album too. Unfortunately the band ran into a lot problems when their success started to peak. Their label folded right when TruANT was being released, so the album did not get the financial backing it needed to succeed. Terry left the band after TruANT, and then Tye after UitA. The years that should have been their peak were riddled with problems. When they finally reunited, it took forever for the new material to release because of bad management and a bad label. They've kind of had the odds stacked against them since the bus crash, and they unfortunately missed their best window for continued success at the same level of ANThology. All that being said, they have amazingly pushed through and are making another album to follow up Always and Forever. It sucks that Tye left again, but hopefully they can still put together material worthy of their excellent standards.

This band had such strong song writing. Its sad they never achieved the long term success other bands in their genre did when I thought they were the best example of it. Hopefully their comeback isn't messed up by covid too much I would love a new album.
