Or that's the point of most characters, to make them relatable to be a good character lol. If nobody could relate they'd be kind of less impactful.

Yeah definitely I relate to both because I'm a middle child. I relate to vi because I have had to look after my younger siblings and I have lashed out at them. The most I've ever done to physically hurt one of them being a slap to the face. I regretted it and now have a bit more self restraint. I relate to Jinx because I'm still a younger sister. I know what it's like to be a person who feels the least helpful and a screw-up. My older sis never called me that but that's how it felt. I even notice myself calling myself a f*ckup whenever I do something wrong and that breakdown she had when Vi left her alone resonated in me. That's one thing I love about arcane. It makes EVERY single character relatable in some way and shows that every character had a reason for their actions.

this is fking breathtaking!! i have seen multiple edits of Arcane with this song from different ppl but this is definitely my favorite so far. i adore this song and this edit truly does it good, i love the scenes you chose and the transitions are so damn smooth. pls excuse me while i rewatch this many many times!! EDIT: the way the ending with Powder beating on the wall matches up with the music is so perfectly done oml

Idk if it was only for the sake of the music video, but the video for Enemy sort of eluded that Vi losing her temper with Powder may have been something that had happened before in the past. Like pushing her down or yelling in her face. Kind of explains a lot tbh

//vent// reasons why i dislike vi is because she is very much like my older sister who was critically abusive (our relationship is better now) but she was very much like vi in the sense that she did what she thought was best for me sometimes but she grew to resent me and would take her frustrations out on me and it fucked me up. seeing the parallels of them having their pillow fight to the arguing and seeing jinx getting anxious, it freaks me out. cause their relationship might not be like how mine was, but to me it is like a trip down memory lane. i myself have been seen as a jinx or even a stain in my family and our reputation. this led to neglect from the rest of my family and then from my sister the one who is supposed to understand and love me and protect me. i just project my hate and trauma from sister onto vi i guess, i don't really hate vi. it just hurts to watch

Power and vi's mom was abusive Because in the second ep when vi hit her and grabbed powers face, powder said "no, mom please" then vi snapped out of it.
