About Alien Romulus:
Alien: Romulus is an upcoming American science fiction horror film. It is the seventh installment in the Alien franchise (or the ninth overall, if counting crossover films) and is a standalone interquel set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986). Directed by Fede Álvarez, who co-wrote it with Rodo Sayagues, the film was produced by Scott Free Productions and Brandywine Productions. It stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu.
The film is scheduled to be theatrically released by 20th Century Studios on August 16, 2024.

This is one of those films where having kept up with all the leaks has me 150% more hyped for it. I won’t spoil any of it, but there is some extremely cool stuff in this film that is going to make fans of the first two films very happy. The way they bring the Xenomorphs into this film is just flat out brilliant and something I had honestly never even remotely considered before.

This movie's gonna be great for to reasons; first, I trust in Fede Alvarez, he's a master creating tension and atmosphere. And second, I'm pretty sure he knows why Prometheus and Covenant failed, he knows what the fans really want this time, is for that reason the film is placed between the first and second film, they gonna give us EVERYTHING we were expecting a long time ago.

It's actually set between Alien and Aliens and they are boarding a space station called Romulus, hence the title. It is also tied to covenant. All this has been factually stated by the director. Spoiler....... Also the big chap xenomorph from Alien is in this one too.

I read that Romulus is the name of the space station.

Mostly… it’s actually called Renaissance Station. One section of the station is older and is called Remus(will look similar to set design in ALIEN) the other section is newer and called Romulus(will resemble the set design in ALIENS).

This movie is set between Alien and Aliens. The 50 years Ripley is in stasis sleep. It’s a Young group of Shake and Bake colonists who decide to explore a derelict space station they find.
