I see these two parts as an outline for a series of books that flesh out the details. There's an excellent yarn here that needs expansion. The foiled terrorist attack alone could be multiple chapters if not an entire book.

Parts 1 and 2 were great. Now I've got to decide how to best view the full array of Sci-Fi Guy's sci-fy fantasy stories. Right now they are fantasies, who is to say they will forever be? But one thing for sure, these stories will be some of my favorites.

Oh, and I'd note that orbiting a scenic nebula strikes me as a bit strange. The nearest i can imagine that would work would be around a star that threw off a planetary nebula. That would still put it inside looking out. The big nebula like Orion might be interesting if you orbit a star passing by a few light years away from it. Stellar nursaries themselves are not places you want to be as they tend to be full of O and B type stars that live fast and die young.

"orbiting a ... nebula". Yeah, probably not.

@@danielhewitt7624It was orbiting, but it came across as the nebula was the backdrop and I think that was the idea there...

Isn't it nice that the two cultures share a common language?

I mean they have interstellar space travel so technology to share a language isn’t exactly out of the realms of possibility

@@jimdob6528 From what I noticed, they didn't share a language, things were translated, I got that impression during the first joint discussion where Zarklif was the intermidiary, he was translating the meaning behind their words based on their cultural differences, so I think they used translating devices for the most part, while there were also cultural factors on the meaning of the words and expressions used, hence the need for more official translators rather than an automated process.

Zarklith is quite the lad, isn’t he? Nice that a non-human leads this cooperative initiative. But since he is military and involved in driving substantial change, the story might be improved by adding in his protector, his “rabbi”, a superior who both advises and defends him, something necessary in any military role initiating change. The narration is quite good - neither too fast or slow, with very clear pronunciation. The writing is equally good, although there appears to be a fondness for the word “palpable”, which I have noticed in other stories, in this one repeated three times. Should a possible joint school like the one in this story ever come to pass, one would hope to avoid the horrors made possible by the American “School of the Americas”, which indeed delved into the military training of disparate cultures, counting as its alumni South American graduates who went home to fight Communism by successfully organizing genocides, dictatorships and death squads. These graduates were also taught “enhanced” interrogation techniques equivalent to torture.one would hope that the humans of the future will have morally evolved past the use of such practices. With all of that said, these stories are well worth a listen, and I recommend them.

A well-written & entertaining story. The title is deceptive/borderline clickbait, but regardless, it's an enjoyable story. Would be very easy for the author to develop this into a screenplay. Would be a good watch

Part 1 made me think that the humans were clever, but in Part 2, I worry for humans in the long term. Once the Zeltron master human thinking processes, and develop similar technology, they will be able to combine human thinking with Zeltron physical advantages, leaving humans very vulnerable. I would express a group of humans seeing this risk work to undermine the cooperation with Zeltron before all human advantages are erased.
