Misan tropo You are actually correct in everything else than in the alien behavior. The animation and ai of the aliens is far worse in the game. We can see heavy scripting in this demo and maybe that gives the impression, I dunno but the ai in game sucks balls. The locations indeed are the same with more additional stuff in them here in demo. The final version comes without ventilation ducts or burning wreckage and the atmospheric processor looks different. Also those sections outside got completely revamped for the worse. The gameplay in this demo is light-years ahead of the released version. Same goes for the script and voice acting. The demo is borrowing heavily from the film, unlike the final product with wimpy ass O'Neill and his God awful dialogue with Bella.

You won't find it anywhere because it doesn't exist, it's just cgi, meaning the devs spent a lot of time and resources in the "demo" instead of the actual game. A real shame indeed.

I read somewhere that something happened and they had to eliminate a big part of the game and start again, with just a few months to re-complete it.

Because this demo was bashed together quickly as hardly any work had been done on the actual game! Even though Randy Bitchford signed with Sega a contract to do the game. Funds sega gave for the game, were diverted to borderlands 2 . Because gearbox gave zero fucks about this project ,they out sourced it to timegate and were given nothing to work with. This demo was all that existed after 4 years ! And it's not in game footage, it was pre rendered walkthrough! The game was bashed together within 12 months even though Randy had signed the contract 5 years prior!

@@adamduffield7782 actually there was also the fact the demo was made on a ultra end PC that was far more powerfull than the consoles, they had to ditch a lot of visual effects, particles and graphics to boost performance for the console, downright what gearbox done is disgusting.

No. Not really, even if the game were good, the two games are actually different. Colonial Marines is a blend of action and horror while Isolation is completely horror. In Colonial Marines you have to survive a wave of aliens, In Isolation, there's only one Alien stalking you and you have no weapons to kill it and your pretty much alone for most of the game.

But Aliens isolation is the best Alien game out there but it's more of a horror survival game which is still not only the best Alien game but best horror games period. It's more like the first movie Alien. But if you want a mediocre Aliens game then yes Aliens vs predator is the game to play.

I think they couldn't complete the game since their budget was cut for some reason and they bad to scrap up what they had left into something.

If I were the maker of this game, I wouldn't have set it on Hadley's Fucking Hope since it was *blown into oblivion* by the end of Aliens. That's one of the biggest warning signs with this trailer, that it had suffered nearly no damage at all.

2021 still pissed on Randy and SEGA both are at fault here. But Randy is in a much shittier spot since HE bleed SEGA's money on Borderlands 2.

sexykyuubi Demo was too high tech for current gen consoles apparently. Even the Ps4 and Xbox 1 in theory wouldn't run the game. The demo only ran on a High Tech computer at the time of the demo. It had to be optimized thats what happened. Plus it being outsourced and other debauchery in Gearbox and the outsourced company.

I just wished they had pulled the release date back and gave it to a company willing to complete it properly. I wouldn't mind the game being in limbo if it were just completed properly and not such a total shitfest of a game.
