Always loved how soothing that harmonic sonar like pulse was, but at the same time how ominous it is in regards to what it's indicating. Like a weird coin, on one side it's soothing, but on the flip side it puts you absolutely on edge 😐😳😅

As someone else said, the Aliens go dormant pretty fast once there isn't obvious threats or prey. We could assume Newt spent days in the vents upwards of a week just munching on small foods and waiting out thr xenos. Also, going by Alien Isolation, those motion trackers would be a death sentence unless you were a marine. Simply because the noise is too obvious of a giveaway to your position.

Play the game Alien Isolation. You will get ptsd, and be terrified, but also love it. The best suspense game I have ever played. It is this, but first person. Worth the price 10 times over, you won't regret it.

This reminds me of the AVP game on PC probably 2003, trying to hunt a predator with the motion tracker. Nothing, no movement then suddenly beep, heart rate goes up and then death from somewhere you couldn't see. Both terrifying and totally immersive at the same time. Something the films really didn't attempt but would have worked in my view.
