The computers put up much more impressive oil amounts, and the characters have special powers! Will this tip the scales and bring about my demise?

Turmoil is the legendary oil drilling strategy game where you gain power and influence in an 1800s wild west town by drilling for oil. Sell oil to gain money, use the money to buy better machinery, and use the better machinery to mine more oil. Beat out three other oil princes for control of the city!

Turmoil's endgame is to become the mayor of a town, but this town sprung up because of oil, as soon as the oil's all dried up, the town gets abandoned, but hey, youre the mayor

I noticed that the wagon leaves the half-full rig the instant you assigned it to either left or right inc. When you didn't assign them they tend to stay there and steadily fill in oil.

Actually finished the Campaign on Expert mode myself and actually lost to Jim Bob as Henry by a difference of 20%... they make like 6 figures every time in the winter area which is insanely hard to do

I think the reason why your horses don’t fill up all the way is because when you put them down and tell them to sell, it overrides any of their previous commands (like taking oil from the rig)

Don't full meme scan. A lot of the scan area was being wasted above ground. Use 2 or 3 smaller, but still meme-worthy, scans to cover the bulk of the ground.

Dowsers prefer higher pockets, so if a later dowser finds something, it is almost certainly lower than the pockets that are already discovered. Thus searching above is rarely useful, you should rather search even lower.

Ez strat is to save money by getting only necessary upgrades (no speed, no counter, no extra scan size, no spillage timer upgrades). Always do the land auction first since the ai buy upgrades after the auction. This allows you to get a lot of stocks for low prices early. By getting a buffer of stocks you can snipe the few you need to win late in the game. Especially since the ai make over 100k every time in the winter zone. Gl

yeah, i did that too, 1-2 horses, which are just storing the oil :) that way you dont need so much horse in the beginning to deal with with so many oil rigs

You can make two pipes from same rig into same pocket right? Would double speed I assume? So you don't have to build as many rigs.

that's what hwas saying he couldn't do; the rigs have 1 less branch in expert, so they start with only 1 pipe max. After that, upgrading the pipe is just more cost-efficient, and even more is usually not worth it.

When you get to gas I noticed you never big piped gas but you can achieve better money with big boy pipes on gas although naturally drains faster

You gain more money from bigger sized pipes, what? If you check his last videos, the slow deplete on his gas has been intentional. If he were to deplete it instantly he would only be able to sell 1 or 2 super silo’s before the gas runs out rather then all 3

@@nerowolf1234 Oil Prices can reach higher prices with a bigger pipe the trade off is gas drains faster. If you have a lot of gas then you can sustain a tier 2 pipe for a long time and achieve over 4 dollars. Tyler also should build horses before he starts max selling if stockpiling oil and has the funds so the oil could be sold much quicker off the bat
