I bought mechanic shop equipment on AliExpress for crazy cheap & saved $20,000. Did I waste my money & was it a scam!?

Be sure to put multiple moisture traps on the feed line to the machine. The moisture will clump up the dry ice and clog the machine.

Definitely setup some type of dust screen. You could set up some type of curtain that drops form the celling around one of the lifts. As long as its mostly boxed off the dust should settle on the floor in only that area. There would be some spill out, but it would be way better than just blasting in the open.

Absolutely needs to mask up. Maybe get one of those portable paint booth type of deals and stick it in the corner of the shop for blasting. I know another well known youtuber full suits up to use his as it just scatters dirt everywhere.

One thing i've noticed while dry ice blasting is the fine nozzle is good for small areas but a more open nozzle( like 10mm opening) will clean a broad area nicely. we also have a fan style nozzle that works well on large sections. Our machine cuts the ice so we buy it in blocks instead of pellets

With the new compressor also check the CFM flow and the bigger the hose the better there’s a big difference between what a 10mm hose can flow compared to a 13mm hose This time size does matter 😮

You could use the gifted compressor for all the air tools in the garage, and buy a second bigger one for the dry ice machine, so you can use everything at the same time but you also have a backup plan if the other one break down's you never have to deal with having no air... i have it set up like that at my garage for my trucking company wich i also use to work on my personal cars, but ye those air tanks i got installed there are huge in comparision with the one here, because you can maybe tight down one truck wheel nut and you will be out off air with a tank you got there lol, i would go for a bigger tank so the compressor dont have to run constant on full power to fill it up, it also does save you a lot on your electric bill if you use a bigger compressor, because it dont need's to fill it up constantly, those dry ice machine's really need a lot off air to get the best result's out off it, i also own one.. nice shop btw! Keep up with the fire content my friend!!

AliExpress has gotten a lot better with packaging and shipping times the last year. Of course there is always that odd package that's broke or takes forever but its so much better then it use to be. Plus they seem to combine items now if you buy a bunch of different stuff from different sellers so you get your whole order in one package.
