@@gabrielbergman1986 I would say yes Usually sooner or later you have to change the alternator (Denso). The only flaw I would say. Engine is a mule (mine 1.9 jtd), do scheduled maintenance (belt!) Mine after 16 years has no noise; they are quality cars with exceptional structural rigidity. There are those who complain about the steering arms; I pay attention, it has never given me any problems. Very nice car, the more the years go by the more I like it

@@rego3068 It is not a car with an underrated design; on the contrary it is highly appreciated and received many awards at the time. It is simply a model released at the wrong time: in transition between FIAT and FCA, not followed, supported and developed by the company. Crippled by the high cost of production. Today, after many years, the quality of the product is clearly perceived. Mine is not only beautiful but still perfect.

I bought one yesterday. Had a newer BMW but decided I wanted this one. 1.9 JTDm 2009...only 149k kms. Needs a bit tlc but really luxurious and sportive car. Always loved the alfa look

Last Sunday I accompanied my fourteen year old son (159 addicted 😁) to the "Quantum of Solace" rally on Lake Garda: 1 Aston Martin on the run and a pack of 70 Alfa 159s in tow, along the tunnels between Salò and Riva, bringing the scenes of the film oo7: 😂 funny. (Aston from Great Britain, 159 from Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Denmark, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Romania, mostly black)

Fantastic list and doesn't make the car look tacky. I'll be getting my first alfa and its a 159 too. It'll need some work doing but can't can't and these mods are definitely on the list. Anyway you've got some fresh links to the led strips and controllers that are correct as the links are dead now. The other things are easy to find. Thanks.

Hi! I placed it bettwen two silencers (literally in the middle between them). I dont have cats and dpf, but silencers are on the place and valve.

yes, eveything works perfect. did you connect the adapter for controls?

@@NikolasKolis yeah but I needed to replace a steering wheel because mine had no controls, now I need to replace the wiring too but it’s hard to find matching one because mine is different it doesn’t come off on it’s own, it comes off with indicators and wipers switch… just wanted to know whether is it worth rewiring it. Is there a special adapter or it’s just with the wiring that comes with the multimedia?

Видеото е супер, както винаги, но за жалост мултимедията на Isudar се оказа пълен боклук, изгоря след буквално две пускания. Набутах се 240 лева за доставка обратно до Китай, след което даже не ми възтановиха пълната сума. Има много негативни ревюта относно Isudar, не бих ги препоръчал на никого

@@NikolasKolis Well I personally did not use any of these parts on my car, because I love to have it in showroom fresh condition. So if I need anything to be replaced, original spare part is what I use. But because repairing those cars is part of my business I have seen these junk chinese parts on many other cars. Not only that it looks and works shit, but in many cases it could be dangerous. For example those wheels. Of course many of your modification will prevent the car from getting MOT. Last but not least that crappy Android stereo not only have poor reception, user interface and amplifier but it was responisble for electrical fire at least in one case. One thing is ruining your own car. Other is guiding someone else to do it as well ;)

@@vojtara many of the listed items cannot be purchased in the original. Chinese parts may not be of high quality is a fact, but on my list I only surpass high-quality and proven parts, so I am responsible for my words. At all this is already an outdated prejudice, as well as the fact that alfa romeo are not quality cars. ps as for the rims - they have all certificates for use on cars and are not Chinese
