This short movie has a deep meaning. It showed us that most of people lost their creativty and their happiness because of system. Working like a robots, studying things thay they actually don't like it. To anyone who read this, if you're a student like me, don't be sad. Maybe you feel unconfident cause you have bad score in some classes, but it's okay. I know everyone have their own unique things. Please, educate yourself. Dont kill your passion and creativity. When something sparks your interest, read about it. Learn about it. Don't rely on school system and educate the beautiful mind of yours. 💞

The irony of this is that I am currently doing an assignment I have no motivation to do but am being forced to do it because of expectations, grades, and a promised stable life if I succeed in school. School isn't about learning anymore. It's about passing.

I really like how the short didn't really offer a magical solution at the end, like the whole world goes colorful or the dad quits his job or something. Just suggests that there are fun, happy, creative, "colorful" things in life that you have to discover yourself, and not let the rest of the dullness ruin those little things for you. Such a positive, constructive message.

I started crying at the end. My parents are teachers, and getting the best grades was something what was expected and not even discussed. If the grades become your orientation it is difficult to figure out what you really want. The joy and sense of play are then difficult to find in the grown-up life and you have to go back in time to discover them again.

This has such a strong message. You must not only think of work but enjoy the little things and take the time for them. The love of the father for his kid was everything, and that was shown as he turned blue at the end of each day when he hugged him. That "little thing" is what made him happy after work. However, when the kid started to turn grey and sad, we could see the father at his downfall and the kid at a depressive state because he couldn't enjoy the music. Also when he started to be sad, it showed how he didn't have any motivation as he couldn't enjoy anything he asked for. His dad couldn't find the balance, until this day where he realised his kid lost his joy, as well known as its yellow color. The green letters symbolised how he was fully motivated, happy, enthusiastic to a handwriting that shows the audience how the kid was tired of thinking of only work. I love this mini animation as it is telling us that we can't only think of work, but we need to find the balance. We can't only have fun, and we can't only think of work. We live in a place where we're surrounded by working industries, but we can definitely take time for ourselves whether you're young or old. We need to find a balance in order to be happy. It is saying that we need to find time for ourselves, even though we need to work. Enjoying little things will simply help to change our ideas, and to have fun. Doesn't mean you are a grow-up that you can't have "free-time" for yourself because everyone deserves a rest during the day. This is what I think they're trying to tell us, and I find it really clever. The change of colors really had an impact on the understanding of this mini film. The power of muted animation is that anybody can understand it their own way, and I love it. It made my day. I wanted to take the time and share this to make people realise how powerful is this short film, it is awesome. Remember: It isn't because you're a grow up with a lot of work that you can't take time for yourself.

This is just a great depiction of what the world has become with the educational system and job economy taking away the natural freedom of creativity and independent thinking that humans crave to be happy and fulfilled. I've observed this even with people in general, how the free rebellious ones end up having the more fulfilled colorful life, and how the Normsters, who've had their natural creativity snatched by society's conventions are left with a routine, lackluster, color-dry life. I was almost one of them too. But we actually seem to be veering off from that direction. People are again waking up or "coloring up" and taking back control. Lastly, I think the orange character is such a cute kid. Such a funny look.

This really touched me. It's not a novel story by any means, to be non-conformist in a society that demands so much. To encourage creativity and difference, it's found in a lot of stories... But I think the way that message was conveyed.. That was beautiful. Only a couple of words (school and work) but an extremely big message. Everything about the short was wonderful and I had a great time watching. Actually made me cry, haha. Tho it's really late so I could be over-reacting just a little. But I know for a fact that my appreciation for the story itself and how it was told isn't me being dramatic. This is definitely an authentically good little short film. I hope ya'll are proud for making it.

I'm not crying, you are. And it's not of happiness, nor of sadness, but it's because this is beautiful, and I don't know why, but even if I have seen this many times, I still cry, because this is a video that people cry for. They cry because it is beautiful. To the people who made this, you are amazing. Everything about this video is just mesmerising. It also shows a hope. A hope of people being able to change, to escape their routines or their obligations, and get their own mind.

Without education, humans aren't able to improve in their lives. Without education, you wouldn't be able to comprehend and understand creativity. @@rickrolled8737 I think what he means is their education system is treating him and his fellow students are being subjected to some sort of experimental learning process that they're taking a little to far in hopes to get some sort of positive result out of. A lot of school systems all over the world try to push a learning system onto their masses of students that make work for one individual and not for the rest. No one wants to treat Student:A ,Student:B, and Student:C as individuals and learn how said Student:A may processes given information differently from their piers. If Student: B and Student: C respond positively to a certain method of teaching while Student:A struggles, they deem this an overall success while student Student A is left behind. This is the result of a underfunded, understaffed, and overall, bloated school system.

I like how the title can have so many different meanings to it. It can represent how similar everyone in the city is to one another, but it also shows how similar the father is to his child. I've noticed that the film focuses of the relationship of the two characters instead of the world around them. A good example is when the two are having deep moments together, the world fades away, leaving only the two of them to be seen by the viewer. Great film super cute story.

What I found most interesting about this story is how long it took for the child to forget his true identity and how quickly he remembered it. That's really how I think it works. We resist with all our strength the message from culture that we are somehow less than beautiful, wise, loving, creative and infinite. Eventually, most of us succumb to the endless onslaught. We forget. But not really. It is impossible for the flame of Who We Really Are to ever go out entirely. And sometimes all it takes is the gentlest of reminders for us to see the truth. I see it every day with my clients. A new light in their eyes. A spark of recognition. A hidden emotion rising up in them in response to a brief moment of clarity. I don't need to add anything to this system. The best (and only) service that I offer as a Transformative Coach is to point. I simply do my best to point them in the direction of their already present wholeness, peace, clarity and happiness. Not because I always know the way there, but because I trust that they will know it when they really see it. To some this may not seem like much of a service. Where are the goals? Where's the motivation and rah rah rah? Where's the advice and instructions and strategy? I'm not questioning that those things may have their place. But my experience with myself and my clients is that they just aren't as necessary when we remember Who We Really Are. It's an odd service to offer, this pointing. But I love it. And my client's lives are changing. So many messages in our world are designed make us forget Who We Really Are. I'm glad that it's my job to help us remember. www.energyrichliving.com

Man this short needs to pick one meaningful and deep message, they've got how some parents entire life revolves around their children and if their child becomes unhappy they basically break, and how the education pushes out any emotions, opinions, or personality a child might have just to force feed them the same useless information to them every day, or how people would rather be normal then happy. Im probably over thinking this arent I

what this video is implying, that all human beings are stripped of their creativity and curiosity early on in life because they're put down by ones higher up in the ladder of life than them, this is such an important message to spread, because so many people have lived and died, not following their dreams because they were ruthlessly crushed down at an early age. and i feel worried that if i became a father or teacher or any other kind of figure a child looks up to, i'm worried i'll make that mistake.
