Reb Noson wrote the discourse Likutey Halakhot, Even HaEzer, Ishut #4 in the year 1830 in the months of October/November. It is based on Likutey Moharan lesson 24. The historical background of Reb Noson at the time helps better understand the letters he wrote, and how they reflect his practical application of lesson 24.
