Hey Adrian. You're probably too busy to respond. Just wanted you to know I got it fixed eventually... The two halfs of the screen were very tightly connected in my case. So I had to heat up the edges first and even then give substantial force.. But it worked! So important for viewers of this demo of yours is that the screen does not allways just snap open when just sliding a piece of plastic through the seam...

Good sunday morning Adrian. Please see my further comments and questions below. Screen is still stuck and I think I risk breaking it when putting on more force you know. You do have the exact same screen I noticed, so if you let me know how the 2 parts of the screen connect ('click together'?)(and 'snap loose'?) that helps. See below points please.

Hi there Adrian, Did you first heat up the edge perhaps? I have HP touchsmart sleekbook 15 b177ed. But I can open the seam just a little bit. It is stuck quite well. Cannot separate the digitizer / screen from the back-cover. Any help appreciated. ;-)

Hi! No, just open like in video. You could use for it ultra thin plastic card or hard plastic foil ex. from plastic bottle.

@@alinkmultimedia Hi Adrian. Tx for the reply. I did try exactly as you showed in the video. Used a flat plastic tool. And a credit card. (and even a flat, thin knife)('potato cutting knife')(risking damages.... but could put more force thus, trying to get more space). But the digitizer/screen is stuck real tight. I can get into the seam OK. All around. But can open only just a bit. Will also send a link with some pictures.
