Nearly my entire career life i've spent working for US base multinational company in jakarta, working closely with US bosses in the US and those who lived in Indonesia but none was willing to learn Indonesian language, they might passively understood our language but most of times they asked locals who spoke english to translate to them. there's a philosophy in our life "dimana bumi dipijak di situ langit dijunjung" which wasnt the case with my americans colleagues/bosses. As far as i know, the singer is sinden, javanese singer. and she sing in javanese language. her voice reminds me of my childhood and my grandpa, who always played the traditional javanese music with sinden's voice, when i was a little girl. he passed away 12 years ago and this vibes reminds me back of him. miss him so much 😢.
