Nf2+ is much easier for quick win and you do not lose a pawn. So AF analysis is correct.

@farzein4002 except that after Nf2 white plays Kg2 not kh4 which AF missed in his analysis. He thought he is mating after Nf2 which is simply wrong.

@@mehdimehdikhani5899 In the interview he focused on the one variation as this is how these players explains. There is no forced mate for 39-Kg2 or Kh4, but 38- ....Nf2+ is easier to convert, comparatively.

@@mehdimehdikhani5899He didnt cover Kg2 because its obviously loosing... stop picking on these minor details, Rd2 is much worse than Nf2

@jamesbond-es4rq At least bother to check the engine before commenting. Rd2 is the best move and Ali calls it a blunder. And Kg2 is as good as Kh4. Stop being fanboys. Alireza is allowed to make mistakes. It's OK. Move on.
