While, afterward's, you will see the Filipino's a lot more around. It's because, they basically have it rigged. Unfortunately, it is rigged. Hell, look at the latest lead singer for Journey, Mel Pineda, who is also a Filipino. He may not be pitch perfect, as Steve Perry was. But, if you never heard the original, with Steve? You wouldn't even pay close enough attention, to notice it. And, bear-in-mind, that over in the Philippines, they are notorious, for sitting around, with their families, at night, with their karaoke machine's, singing, every single night. It's what they do over there. Simply, because, they don't have a lot of money. So, they sing & dance around, to be happy together...

There is NO Amer. Idol right now. Suppose to be coming back next year on a different network/tv station. We only have "The Voice" which I just can't deal with. All the singers are just so weird!!!

aspenrebel ...I love the Voice but the live audition are great and the battle round are even more exciting. But when America pick it gets boring.

But the staging is too black and dark. I get having the Judges w back to contestant. But all the singers are strange. They sing strange songs I've never heard before, and in a strange way. Just all very weird. I've never made watching past a few 1st auditions. I don't even know the process after that. All I know is I caught "Curly Sue's" 1st Audition, she picked Xtina, and I picked her to WIN ..... and she DID!!! So apparently it ain't a difficult show to handicap.
