At this young age, her voice was "very good". But as she matured into greater confidence and technical mastery, her voice went from "very good" to "a generational vocal talent". One of the finest country/bluegrass singers of all time.

I love this song. We sing it all the time in church. I especially like the lyrics, "How great it must be for angels to see a pilgrim reach home". That really chokes me up when I sing or hear that verse. It's going to be a wonderful day when Jesus comes and rescues His people. Praise you, JESUS! No one could ever love us as much as you. Thank you for everything. AMEN!!

So young and already so full of grace... After seeing this it's hard to believe that there's no such thing as a gift... A voice like that could never be acquired, even through years of practice. I am so happy that she discovered her talent so early on and has been able to share it with us over the years, it's an ongoing treat for the ears and the heart... Keep up the music Alison !

🎶 “….when I walk up that milky white way, I’ll see that home coming in array. How great it must be for angels to see a pilgrim reach home!” 🎶 I love those old gospel songs so much. To have a person with a gift like Alison Krauss sing those gospel songs gives me chill bumps. ❤
