I’m having to by force heal n change this behavior to be patient and let time do its thing n not manipulate aka control the outcome I want to see. How would you have made him so miserable? I don’t want to make him miserable I want nay we need to heal due to being co parents of an Aries fire. 🥹

Not punishing because of the past. Being calm because of past experiences. I’ve done this before and I’m comfortable in it. I was freaked out the first go around though! I almost dipped, because the first 3 month away time I lost my darn mind! It can really mess with you! I had the best couple of months followed by an epic tearing away. I hit bottom like a cinder block! It hurt like hell! I adjusted and grew from it though!

Or they could just apologise for not having asked at all how I felt after bringing up the traumatic event and then letting the whole night be about how they now imagined they were a bad person because they brought it up! ;) Nope, while this kind of selfish behaviour I have dealt with before, that only makes it more clear I need to shut it down when it comes around again. I gave them more than 10 rounds in which each time I said they should just apologise exactly for what they did and the closest they got was the vague ass 'I see my behaviour has hurt you.' instead of actually saying what they did which was hurtful, while also they kept pushing some fantasy of us just laughing it off + saying I was unkind for pointing out my hurt *LOL* as I was still reliving it every day. No man. I deserve so much better.

Thanks for the warning……I’ve sabotaged so many relationships in my life …..seems like being happy and I need to unconsciously kick in some damage but at 74…..I can’t afford/don’t want to do this again ….my Leo is lovely and I’ve had to grow and heal a lot in the last year……relationships are tricky for a lot of us Saggies …….but I need to keep reminding myself of all the positives throughout our journey together…….this guy is for keeps……

🩵🩵🩵 5:07. This is what happened. I gave too much, did too much. Codependency drove a wedge between us, then some sort of legal/divorce bomb was dropped into his lap. Haven't seen him since. 😫 Currently in a 12-step group to address my codependency patterns.

Hi Ali! I debated whether I should share this. SIM WORLD loves to play with things! I’m going to share. When I was a teenager I met my husband. We started dating a few months before he was due to go to college. I was still in high school. It was a work study college so he was at college 3 months and then home 3 months. During the college 3 months he came home one holiday weekend after 7 or 8 weeks away. Our relationship was that way for 3 years before we finally moved in together. My point is I’ve done the long distance relationship, and it doesn’t freak me out. We made it work. That’s why this situation isn’t freaking me out. I’ve done it before for 3 years. So I am wanting to finish this part of my life and move on. The guys are a bit confused as to how I’m okay doing the long distance thing. I’ve done it before so I’m okay. The fire signs aren’t the type for patients and I get it. Z has expressed that he would be happier if we cemented things before we do long distance. I’m not there yet though. So we shall see…….
