I have used to fly with Alitalia same route many many times before, you can say it just fine airlines not many expectations with them - but in the long haul flights they are better than region flights + the connection in Roma Fiumicino is such a very good experience and this is the main reason for me to chose Alitalia for my connection flights rather than any other europian airlines :D

From my experience.....Alitalia old aircraft friendly crew......while other airlines may have modern aircraft but rude crew
