Comparing the palette sizes is so unbelievably helpful! Nothing worse than buying a palette for travel only to find out it’s too bulky

Thanks for taking one for the team! I've seen two other videos which just brushed by the new MAC palettes as cool tone, muddy and boring color stories. Lisa E. comparisons were very helpful. Like you, I'm all for the MAC Fix Plus & Paint Pots. Somehow I have a hard time justifying high prices for nude eye palettes. Looking forward to seeing your eyeshadow tutorial.

The color stories and formulas may not be most unique on the market, but I think there's something to be said for easy and dependable!

Totally correct answer. I'd have to see these in person before I purchased. I'm sure IRL the colors will look much better. MAC is nothing if not dependable.

I was interested in this palette. I will have to swatch in person before I buy. They look so dry and powdery. I have a single of Satin Taupe that I do love. I feel eyeshadow formulas have come a long way now. I need to see your eye looks !! Looking forward to it.

If you press the insert at a corner, the insert pops out and you can easily take out the shadows ✌🏻

@@MarjorieEarlDean I think she was referring to the empty palettes you can customize. I haven’t had any luck with the ready-made palette.

Yes, that’s how you can easily take out the shadows from the refill palettes. I believe the pre-made palettes are glued down, unfortunately 🙂

So the MAC six-pan palette is not magnetic?

I don’t think so, unfortunately. I tried removing a pan the same way I did the custom palette and it seemed pretty stuck.
