I actually cried listening to this song. I had a bird once. Budgies actually, the girl was brave and the boy was weak. The girl always bites him whenever he eats. Whenever I come closer the girl always goes near, and the boy would back away because he’s scared. Then Something happened. There was something that knocked over their cage and the girl escaped. I was crying so hard because we couldn’t get her out of a high tree. We tried everything to get her out and she flew away. The boy got closer to us and being so brave to come closer to us. but still is depressed. Now I know why she stops him from eating a lot because he was stress eating, he’s always nervous and she’s there to comfort him. The girl wanted him to come but he was too scared. Now that she’s gone, he’s been depressed everyday. Then one day. He died😭 him laying on the cage, it looks like he was finally free..

this song is like that one person who tries to protect everyone and tries hard to make everyone feel happy/included even if its tiring to do, and feel like its their burden to make everyone happy, and the one person who distances themselves from everyone naturally even if they want to have friends because they feel like they are undeserving, not genuine or something, then finds friends when they are lonely, but repeats the cycle all the time I feel kind of like both of them, i try to make everyone happy and included but slowly distance myself from everyone impulsively for a few months trying to observe from afar, and i think it probably doesn't affect anyone, then try making friends the next few. like in and out of being social because both statuses are so tiring also the song is just nice like lol Edit: im happy some of yall feel more understood. dont worry you arent alone

This song reminds me of my grandma Jane, I believe she died of a head injury in the nursing home…She was mute and I thought it was a chore to talk to her…she loved me so much and I didn’t realize how much I needed her..until she was gone 😞

This song reminds me of the best friend I had as a kid.. They never told me they were moving schools in the first grade, it felt like a normal day until she wasn't there,never came again. It really hit different when the song said "They will never let go of that wire, but he's just a liar" (something like that) but without the liar part, I still remember the pain I felt without having a friend for years.. I have new friends now but I still miss her, its been years since I have seen her and hoping she remembers me :(

This song reminds me of 2010 for no particular reason. I was only 3 years old in 2010, and it may be because this song came out in like 2009, but this reminds me of my early childhood. I don't feel a connection to the lyrics, but to the strong childlike vibes this song gives off. It resonates with me in that way, and it makes me really want to go back to when I was a toddler. This song to me, is the embodiment of growing up. Your parents stop tucking you in at night, you don't get to be held like you used to be, and you're forced to let go of a more innocent version of yourself you'll never get back.

I have a friend who moved away in kindergarten... She was my only friend, I had no other friends... A couple years later I got a call from "Vicky" which was her moms name but had forgotten at the time.. I said to my mom "Mom!! Who is Vicky??" She said "... Answer it!!!!!!!" And so I did and it was her... I bursted into tears.. And guess what? We're still friends to this day. In fact while typing this I'm actually on call with her rn. i understand you. i have this friend, met her on 7th grade and we became inseparable. we were best friends, but on 8th grade something happened. we were on a friend group and i had problems with them and left because i kept getting excluded. not her, though. she always was the twilight zone. so she stayed friends with them and she forgot about me, instead she hung out with them always. not only that, but other guy who used to be my best friend as well met her on 8th grade and they became best friends, forgetting about me. to make it short: she made new friends and now we're drifting apart. she says she misses the old days, but she doesn't do anything to fix this. i always tried to keep us together but i eventually gave up because it wasn't reciprocated - i have to accept that she has other friends and she isn't interested in me anymore. still, it hurts because i don't have many friends and this friendship was gold for me. we understood each other and we had similar tastes. we were an inseparable duo. i may or may not be mad at her and her friends because at some point they were all my friends but they forgot about me the moment she came; i did everything for them even if i had to do unpleasant things, and this is what i get? but well, there's nothing i can do, so yeah

That reminded me so much of me and my best friend. We both went trough "stuff" and we both want to heal from it, but it sometimes has its issues and sometimes it gets bad. Like, really bad. Once its him, wanting to end it all and me trying to get him out of it until its too late, once its me and my demons im bottling deep inside of my heart dragging me down and clouding my senses and him trying to snap me out of it and urge me to continue. We got eachothers back when world had turned on us. I belive we will both let go of that wire one day and fly foward to move on

this isn’t a vent, but if you get sad reading this, I apologize. This song reminds me of my first friend. She was incredibly pretty, and her name was Violet, but they go by Alex now, from what I’ve heard. On my first day of school, I saw her in line in the hall. She asked me if I wanted to be her friend, and I told her I’d think about it. At lunch, her dad forgot to put the food in her backpack, so I shared my lunch with her. After that, we became the closest friends. Sadly, In 3rd grade, she said she was moving, and I didn’t think it would be that much of an issue, since she said I could always visit her. It’s been years since I’ve seen them, and the only way I can reach out to her is through online messaging, but I’ve always been nervous as to if she wants to talk to me. I miss her deeply, but I have no idea if she’ll remember or care to reach back out to me. :’)

Currently crying over a character arc nobody has ever heard of and that probably won't get much recognition. Two brothers searched and found their mother, though she doesn't know that they're her children. They're trans. Their mother becomes possessed by an evil energy. She kills one of the brothers. She leaves the other with the loss of his brother. "One says c'mon" "The other says I'm tired" Sobbing.

This song is like two friends who played every day and tried everything together but in the end the fell apart and never talked to each other again (I'm doing this representation or example of how this song makes me feel because I have two maybe three best friends that I never want to lose and I would cry if I ever loose them, just far far away into the shire my heart would go into somewhere cold and I would eventually just give up on myself if that ever happens, that my bestie would probably feel bad too, in fact every friend goes through that time where they go on a different path and they just go away for a while...but after a bit they start feeling bad for themselves so they become friends again but most people such as me would be really sad if that happend permanently.)

Me and my mother have a Strong relationship together,whenever i see her hardworking just for me..i just wanna go to her and hug her..whenever dad makes me sad.. she's there to cheer me up,I knew that she has heart problem's..Now..i regret everything that i did to my mother...i don't want her to go..now.. im thankful because she's always there for me..and making me feel safe, doing anything just to make me happy..i always pray to god that her Heart Problems are gone and away but..never worked..its stuck there..I wanna stay with my mom forever..i love her too much..she did so much for me.. (Im crying while making this one..)
