Heller thats as of 2007 iho. CHED conduct and rank colleges and universities every 10 years basing on the performance of students from board exams not only that they also look at the facilities of the school and for the years 1997-2007 they pick the TOP 20 schools with most outstanding record for that particular decade. Sadly no schools from iloilo are included in the list hahaha

exactly ryt richieyu... try to trace aliwan since 2004... before other contingents dont use the mobile risers... pero ngayon... marami nang gumagamit nito... even the lakbayaw group from tondo was inspired by the dinagyang concept... and even the aliwan itself was copied from the dinagyang way of holding the straat dance sontest... MBC could prove my claim.

even if CEBU is the RICHEST PROVINCE in the country and CEBU CITY is the RICHEST CITY outside Metro Manila wla kami masyadong ginastos sa aming representative sa aliwan only their fare and allowances kasi costumes and props nila ginamit na sa SINULOG, wla silang dinagdag and they still manage to be a 4th placer. ILOILO spent 6.2 million pesos hoping to bag the aliwan festival champion ayon talo pa rin hahaha. 3 contingents is nto enough for u to win the title

We may criticize but let's put some decency and a bit of brain in our words. This is one thing i dont like in competitions... festivals are celebrations or jubilations. We hold festival bcause we wanted 2 promote harmony and dynamism of culture but in the present context of festival... it defies d meaning; the soul and our identity

Sometimes choreographers often forget to incorporate a space for 'breathe' in the dance. In effect the whole rpertoire of the dance looks so tiring and forgetable. That one thing i dont see in tribu kasag. But i commend the labor and imagination of the creative people behind it.

There is no such issue as DINAGYANG is not allowed to join SINULOG what happend the last time is tdat DINAGYANG was late in submiiting the requirements kya hindi sla na2loy & u dont have to blame SINULOG FOUNDATION for that. I tried being one of the thousands of volunteers 4 SINULOG 08 and 09 & i tell u anyone can join SINULOG. If dinagyang is interested i can get registration forms & mail it to who ever wants it. PINTADOS de passi & dinagyang has similar costumes so it is not the reason too
