This version by aliye and one more from Tose Proeski, who now is passed away, did a live performace in a serbian show. These 2 are the best versions.

It's totally the type of song they'd play when lowering someone into the ground and a lot of slavic music carries that common thread of bitter fatalism (and saying goodbye to the world before your time). "The Black Raven" by Maxim Troshin is a great example of this...its a song about a Russian Soldier bleeding out and begging a raven to wait till he's dead before eating him. Very fucked up but beautiful at the same time...just like life, I guess.
