Never gets old. Heard first time in Hostel when first get enrolled to Engineering uni in March 2007. And my senior introduced me this songs. Still remember all the young guys over there were mesmerized by the beauty of Alizee and her outfit in this very song. And here in Jan 2024 I am doing the same :D

I stumble upon this very video some years back quite unexpectedly. I was immediately stunned by her beauty, her presence and her presentation. Laughed hard when I saw the grotesque individual known as "Madonna", sit there and try to act like she was enjoying watching a much hotter, more talented and younger singer sing one of her hits better than she did back in the day. I am now an old dude, "genx", so I grew up listening to that song. Oh, and before I go, I want to draw a comparison between the way Ms. Alizee focuses and looks at the camera during this video and then go watch a video of the Bangle's lead singer, Susanna Hoffs, as she sings "walk like an Egyptian". It is easy to see that when women know how to do this, that they hold all the power in the world and have historically destroyed empires with that power. I don't know much about Ms. Alizee, but where ever she is and whatever she is doing I hope she is doing well.

And just checked her wiki, her previous and current husband are both white men, so if that would be her fantasy, she would simply just have a black guy. And I also don't see tattoos. It's the current gen that acts like that, she isn't even a millennial (even though millennials are counted from the exact year she was born, 1984), she does not behave like many of the white American women.

Times I do a Alizée binge video watch. Your voice I enjoy even not knowing what you sing. This was the first song I heard you sing in English. It may be a Madonna cover but I like it as much as when Madonna song the song back when. This was when I really like your voice. This was a great video with all the guys playing guitars with the Spanish feeling.
