I just wanted to give a little shout out to Alize and her mom for this sweet video. I bet they had no idea how it would bless other little tots. My grandson, who is two, LOVES watching Alize swim and we talk about how she is getting her air and her wall and turning over to float. It has helped him understand what he is supposed to do in his swimming classes and he claps for Alize and is very proud of her. Little does he know, she is a big girl now! This is the only ISR video I could find without the baby screaming- which is normal. But this one makes it possible to use instructionally with our grandson. Thanks again, and “Go, Alize!”

She’s the ONLY baby I’ve seen who actually looks comfortable in water. The only baby not crying and screaming. What a great baby. Incredibly brave.

I had a bunch of crying tonight, but it happens for a few nights. You are taking them out of their comfort zone. Great job Coach!

She didn't care about the clothes...she was saying I want that mermaid you've been promising an hour now. She's an extremely patient baby but even the most patient babies will eventually become aggravated. I'm aggravated for her and she's doing so well.

They cannot survive if dhes alone...hahahaha

Not funny. Though I agree. I’m skeptical if a baby can actually survive by using these skills when all alone and panicking when Falling in. I’ve noticed in some other videos, they were teaching the baby to cry so someone wud hear them. Though I think they would probably be crying anyway! I also read that two children died after graduating the isr course.

Idk looks to me like the babies do all the work so they probably very well could.

She absolutely could survive. She knows how to turn over and get her air and can sustain that long enough to be found.

Not even ISR guarantees survival, however, their numbers for saving lives far exceed the deaths of those few babies that do die. When it’s your time, it’s your time, and nothing can change that. This baby doesn’t cry because this is near the end of her training, not the beginning. Crying is not the issue. Breathing is. God continue to bless this program and all who participate. Don’t be a stupid parent and keep your child from doing this because they will cry. I’d rather them cry than me. Teaching them to “swim” at the YMCA doesn’t work. Nobody is going to be there to blow in your face to get you to hold your breath before you fall in. Practicing this method helps them be prepared- not scared, when they do fall in.

@@carleengaliardo this one baby is not a typical baby at the end of program. The majority still are quite frightened and crying during the end of the program.

Well the instructor is using the reward system but she's not allowing her to play with the reward. She was working hard for the award too, finally she was over the silly game instructor was playing.
