But, we aren't experts! Shouldn't an expert be the end all be all? Common sense and all, you know? Like, I decide that a mask isn't helpful by thinking in an intelligent way on the matter, putting 2 and 2 together in a way. Looking at all the data and coming to a conclusion for myself. But many would say I am not educated enough on the efficacy of mask wearing to come to this conclusion, although I have looked into it. Now, the experts say EVERYONE should be wearing a mask, I disagree. I am not welcome in some establishments because I feel/have concluded a mask would not do any good and actually decreases my chances of being healthy to my fullest effort. Breathing out is like passing gas, deficating or urinating. I would not hinder any of these routes of disposal my body uses to purge it of toxins.

@televikkuntdaowuxing
@televikkuntdaowuxing 5 жыл бұрын
@@csanadignat8360 Conspiracy theories are not always engaged by or a formation of a bigger party, let's say, a herd, a communiy of thought, etc. You can think you're thinking individually, freely, your own way, but 2 things can happen: 1, either you're not really thinking that independently, being influenced indirectly by big narratives and discourses, or even just wanting to contrast information, with the possibility this information is false and therefore falling for the trap of propaganda, or 2, possibly, or in theory, a lot of people like you, "free-thinkers", are also thinking like you and you don't even know it, you could materially or indirectly regroup and establish certain parameters, ideas, etc, and that would be falling for the trap of the herd, the big narrative too. I think either way you can't escape being sucked up into pre-existing narratives. The point is analysing which points of the best ones of them are the most reasonable AND analytical (not only reasonable, that would be falling into the famous phrase: "it's common sense", well, maybe it ISN'T common sense, but very deeply assimilated), and, as you correctly said, CRITICAL against EVERYTHING, because as a free-thinker you could perfectly say "nationalism is good for human beings", or "morals make people happier", but that would also be falling for a very indirect trap, which are influences taken from your family, people around you,... Propaganda isn't only spread by the big powers, corporations, governments, media,... but EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. But yes, overall a good point.

Make sure you don't lose your focus though because it's easy to lose focus as their intent is to brainwash people with their rethorics. So you missed that point BIG time."_ One of the points of the video is that those who dissent from the media's narrative get attacked by the media and that is exactly what is happening to Trump. Just because Trump is a petty liar doesn't change that fact. For instance the media won't STFU about Russia even though it's a non-issue (like Benghazi). So someone missed the point but it's not Dan 123.

Well that's not flak. That's just the media acting through its other filters. Just as the Russia thing is put on by people in the political establishment, legitimate or not, from the Democrats and others who want to take Trump down, so was Benghazi a ploy put on by the Republican Party. Flak according to the model is when the media deviates from the propaganda line, and that can come from any side of the spectrum, but always from the political establishment. When the media criticizes Trump it's not flak.

Well it is political art. Propaganda is art meant to spread a political message. Good propaganda doesn't let you know its propaganda. That's what makes the media so effective. It is just facts and figures, either panels of people arguing. But no attention brought to who gets to ask the questions, about what facts, to what people.
