Turkey with per capital income of $7000 has hospitalized millions more refugees than any of the developed countries. USA wants to establish a Kurdish state at the expense of Syria's and Irak's northern territories. PKK is partnering with them in the north. This is against Turkey's security If US is doing it with the consent of Russia why should Turkey shoulder the refugee problem. Why US, France, England and Russia are not taking any refugees? Turkey occupies some territories on northern Syria because there is PKK there and Kurdistan might stretch out to Mediterranean in the future. Turkey does not want it. That is the reason for occupation. Turkey would not have occupied any foot square in northern Syria if US and its European allies had not started the war at northeastern Syrian territories. A lot of Turkish people are not ready to see the high number of Arabs entering their country, even as tourists - who by the way benefit the country's tourism sector very much -, let alone refugees. Secular Turks deem Arabs as traitors and it's a part of their so-called nationalist thoughts. Also, many people, especially elderlies, don't differentiate between their "pride" of being Turks and xenophobia. It's easy to trigger hate sentiment even among the Turkish people themselves who are ideologically polarized. Luckily for the Kurdish minority, Syrians and Arabs, in general, have absorbed the racism they underwent for decades.

When I was a kid, a guy that kicked an elderly person (man OR woman) would be beaten in the streets by any witnesses. Same with someone that hits a child in public.
