Remember he only used to play SC ARPGs (D3). He has probably 30,000+ hours in ARPGs. That's where his take comes from. SC would be boring for anyone with that many hours in ARPGs.

@@guitarsolos89 It's honestly super boring if you're used to pushing the limits of your build in SC ARPGs. Got my very first POE HC character to 95 without much thought and then immediately killed him due to boredom. HC is fine and everything, but you either have an essentially unkillable build and use logout macro or die to a one shot/DC. There isn't a lot of in between in POE HC. Probably the most boring HC in any ARPG.

Alk is correct in how in the SC economy, people with more knowledge profit more compared to the lower echelons. However, at all levels of skill people can leverage the economy to their advantage compared to playing SSF. (This is trivially true, as you can just pretend to play SSF in trade and only interact with trade in ways beneficial to you.)

HCtrade is basically SSF if you want to highly minmax your build. Right corrupts, elevated rares, exeptional awakened supports etc probably don't exist. You have to farm them all by your own. But if you want to just try something (idk, like frenzy stacking snipe ice shot, like i have) you CAN do it, but can't just throw n divines for a build.

Alk when you are talking about the SCT vs SSF. That's why we went group SSF. We get to play the builds we want. We don't have to deal with the economy. We still feel like we are playing poe, and most of the time the little loot becomes so important, plus you are forced to play different mechanics than you might normally touch.

I can agree with HC trade being better than SC trade, but I think SSF is dogshit. It limits you too much in how many builds you can play because there's so many uniques that are not realistic to get in SSF. Not to mention you need to grind 50x more than trade to get to the same power level, only viable if you have 12h to play per day.

‘Only viable if you play 12 hours a day’ , not at all. SSF artificially prolongs your prolongs your playtime, so regardless if you play 1 hour a day or 12 you will end up playing a league longer. Also its not about getting to the same power level as trade, if you go into ssf with that mentality you are already going to have a shit time.
