Worldwide entries with shipping included! Each of the 7 videos will feature a letter announced somewhere within the video. There will be 7 letters total and these letters make up a 7 letter word! If you can collect all 7 letters and spell out the secret word, you will be entered to win the Golden Snitch wand!
Info about how to submit the word will be announced in the Day 7 video on Sunday, October 17. Until then, keep collecting letters and don't announce the word if you solve it early. If you solve the word early, hold tight. Further details will be announced Sunday, October 17.

These wand woods are based on the Ogham Tree Calendar, each month has a tree assigned to it so for example Dec 24th to Jan 20th is Birch, the next is Rowan etc. There are 13 wands as there are 13 months in the Ogham. Pretty cool.

I’m glad someone clarified that. I was born in late August, so I’m actually hazel, not holly. And, yes, I do feel that I identify with hazel.

I think the elder wand original looks more like a wand given by death than the one Dumbledore used and we all know today. They are quite cool wands, now they have elaborate them more, but very lovely. Thanks for sharing.

I’m born in October, but the Holly wand was the wand that chose me. I was about ten at the time and it was truly a magical experience. This was only about four years ago so it was interactive. While I knew it wasn’t “real” magic, it was still one of the coolest experiences of my life. I’m going back to Universal for the second time soon, and I’m bringing back my wand and taking my seven year old sister to get her own. Such an amazing experience for any Potterhead!

That sounds amazing! Was was also picked by a Holly wand, once as a test Rowling created when I was a child on the early 2000 website, and again on Pottermore and Wizarding world. Holly with Dragon Heartstring. Hope you sister has a great time!

I was not chosen for the official wand ceremony but the employee at Ollivander's did talk to me and do a mini wand assessment as everyone was walking into the store. I was told to purchase an Ash wand. I also just looked up the Tree Calendar mentioned in the comments and this is the wand that matches up with my birthdate!! So cool. Also, Ash trees are one of my favorites :)

Always love your enthusiasm. I have these wands myself on my wand wall but have not reviewed them yet. You did a wonderful job in sharing these wands. I did not know that they are lined up with the moon cycle. Keep being awesome!

Hey Peter, my birthmonth is October and I would definitely choose that wand. It is really pretty. The handle is the handle of Umbridge's wand, but the pink pearl is wood here. Really love it.

My birth month is February. I am a Slytherin, but would NOT be a death eater. I also prefer the more simpler wands. I bought a Remus Lupin interactive wand to use when I went to Universal.

Loved this video! With April being my birth month, the April wand didn’t speak to me as much as some of the other wands. But it was still great to see them all! Really like the original wands over the interactive wands. Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s video! Keep Collecting!!

There’s 13 because of the Tree Calendar is based off of the moon cycle so there is 13 instead of 12! Each one has a meaning and personality for people born under that moon! I talk about it frequently on my channel, and other wandlore, but it’s really cool to see what characters match the Tree Calendar and what ones don’t! And the cultural meaning of the wood too and how that relates to the witch or wizard! 🪄💖 Have a wand-erful day!

I was born in February and I'm a Slytherin..the February wand's handle has a skull similar to that of a Death Eater's wand..so I think that wand definitely represents me 🙌

It's funny - that broomstick looking handle really struck me when I first started watching your video, and I wondered what my month-wand would look like. Lo and behold I got the Reed Wand (December) which has that broomstick looking handle 🤣

I was chosen when I went in 2016! Mine is the birch wand with a unicorn hair core 😊 the description Mr. Ollivander gave about the wand/core was scary accurate to me! It’s definitely an experience I’ll never forget!

I have number 10! I always wondered what happened to those wands. If I remember it correctly, they were like 30 bucks. I was also there on opening day! Stood in line for 8 hours. Now, I absolutely love remembering that day and talking about it.

I went to the wizarding world 9 years ago and got my ash wand. Still have it. Love it. Knowing they no longer make them is sad but makes me feel really good that I was able to get one and experience it.

Both my husband and I were chosen (on the same day but different time sessions) for the wand choosing experience in World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Japan in 2017. I got the January wand and my husband got the April wand. It was such a wonderful experience! My husband was a complete muggle but he was very thrilled to be chosen and he didn't think twice about purchasing the wand that chose him. He's a Ravenclaw now. And I am squealing inside because I figured out the mystery word now!!! But since Peter casted his silencing spell, I can't reveal it.

My birth month is November. I love the handle of that wand. When I saw the September wand, I was going to say that spoke to me of those already shown as I loved that handle, so I am happy to see that November shares the same one. I don't like the shaft of the November wand though, so the September wand is definitely the one that speaks to me. I love the brown and wavy shaft. It really complements the handle.

My wand is Holly according to the Tree Calendar, since the Tree Calendar doesn’t match up with months exactly. Same as Harry’s and I LOVE all the meaning in Holly, and for all the wand woods too!

Hi Peter! I remember those original wands like it was yesterday! My first trip to the Wizarding World was back in 2011, I was about 7 or 8 years old. I was chosen for the wand experience and all the wands were in their original form at the time. The vine wand was the one that chose me and I love it. It was actually the first wand I ever got and it ignited the collector inside of me. About 12 years later I've collected 45 wands. I'm really happy I went to the Wizarding World before they changed all the wands to interactive. I love the interactive wands, I think it's a fun idea, but I was disappointed that they completely discontinued the original Ollivander wands. I would have collected all of them! How were you able to get your hands on them? I have two interactive Ollivander wands, mostly because my fist interactive wand's sensor got chipped. Also, the Rowan wand shaft is similar to Fleur Delacour's wand. They are beautiful wands!

I'm January!! And when I went they already had transitioned into the interactive wands. However, that birch wand for January is still one of the designs!! It's darker now, and not as many of the different colors are painted on it. But, that's the wand design I chose so it's great to see that I stayed true to my birth month wand design!

My birth month is December, and I like the December wand, but it's not my favourite out of these 13 - my favourites are the vine wand and the elder wand. But they are all awesome in their own way. You look so happy when you're sharing your experiences, it's heartwarming to see a person so much in love with the Wizarding World🤩

my birth month is march, and i think that it fits me since it is both ornate and simple and i like what you said about being able to appreciate both sides, since sometimes i like things that are simple but other times i really like the more ornate and complex.

Very interesting that you always considered yourself to be a Ravenclaw but then got sorted into Slytherin on Pottermore. I’d love to see a video about your thoughts on that, what you thought when you were sorted into Slytherin, was it hard for you to start identifying as a Slytherin, what Slytherin traits do you feel you have/don’t have, etc.

Love all the wands... For me, November actually fits me great... Love it... Also, I actually made one for myself and the shape is unreal, exact form, but handle not like that... Wow... You are so lucky to have gone to Opening Day at the Harry Potter theme park...!!! As for the wands love them all... I have been making wands out of wood with Dremel for years and gave most away, now trying different styles since Fantastic Beasts came out!!!

I have a fun wand story (from the interactive era, not the originals sadly)! When I was in high school we were lucky enough to go on a choir trip to Orlando and perform at Disney World and one day of the trip was spent at Universal and would be my first time at the Wizarding World. My friends and I went to Ollivanders and hoped that since there were 4 of us there was a good chance at least one of us would be chosen, sadly none of us were and we were talking amongst ourselves in the store after the show about how maybe we should go through again just to see if we get chosen. We were approached by an employee in the store who overheard us and introduced herself as a wand maker in training who would love to help us find wands that chose us. She was incredibly sweet and interviewed me and my friends and chose a unique wand for each of us! She gave me the Ash wand and even though it isn't my tree calendar wand, I love it so much! Eventually, 4 years or so later I visited again and was chosen and the Reed wand chose me (still not my tree calendar wand lol)!

Thanks for sharing these! Universal Studios Japan is still selling them but as interactive versions, I think. I got the Holly wand because that's my wand based on the Pottermore quiz. I was born in June, but my Ascendant in astrology is Leo (August), so I guess Holly does fit! :)

So I just went to Ollivander's yesterday. I was picked for the wand ceremony too and I also was chosen by an Alder wand. Same as you it is definitely not one I would have picked for myself but also like you I had to by it because it chose me. I am a Gryffindor so here's hoping it will serve me well despite looking very much like a Slytherin wand.

Oh my gosh. So I have the ash wand and I didn't even know that it was a original wand from the grand opening until I did my research. I was not at opening day at my self but I got the wand from a very sweet old lady when she afforded to gift me her Harry potter stuff after I talked to her for a couple hours about books and shared my love for the series. She also gifted me the Hardcover original editions on fantastic beasts and quiditch throw the ages, a fabric Harry potter doll, a knight bus toy, a DA keychain, a Harry potter scrapbook, and many more. Also I'm September.

Peter! I've learned so much about my wand from this video! Lol! I have #12 (which in my memory I remember it being #11) and it also chose me! My story is pretty funny as well. I went to WWHP as part of a Contiki group with my friend, and I kept seeing the lineup for Ollivanders and I refuse to wait in lines to I just decided I wasn't going to go. But once we had done the whole park, we still had time before leaving so I grudgingly agreed to wait for the Ollivanders show. When we finally get to the front of the line, I start to get excited. Now, I'm a 6ft tall black mid-20s adult at the time, and when I get in, I get rushed by all the short people, but I put myself in the front of the crowd, and as I say to my friend Oh I hope I get to be in the show, the show begins and Ollivander comes down the steps and he picks ME!! And we did the show and everything was amazing and it definitely goes down as one of the best moments of my life 😂 All the Aussies I was with were so jealous! 🤣 Question for you though, my box doesn't have a number on it... Can you or someone else that has one of these share where to look for it??
