I'd say walking cane is the best gadget just because of the sheer versatility. It can be used to break walls, finish off enemies, pull, stun, goes through walls, and with the glitch you've got yourself a full on gene super. It also can be used to get straight up unfair goals in brawl ball

I would put Faux Fur below Hank's shield, as it has basically the same stats, but it applies to a bear, not a brawler

"Tar barrel" is a really usefull gadget, and i will try to convince all the haters that it is. While not using it the enemies will keep themselves slightly away from you (even if you roll it is hard to land right on top) and you will only deal like 50% damage as the fall off is really high. It is also great as a safety net if you miss your super, or if you try to run up to someone. As i said the damage fall of is pretty harsh and if you try to kill someone in the middle or edge of your range then you will most likely lose. Therefore it is very helpful to slow them. You are not using it too slow them when you already are on top of them and deal max damage, you are using it before then to get them into that range. The area of effect is a lot bigger than you would think and it cofirms so. so many kills. Darryl also has a fast movement speed, not very fast. This means that it takes quite a while to catch up to a normal speed brawler, and he can't even get to the faster brawlers. If you look att Bulls "stomper" you can see the same thing, it would be WAY less usefull without the slow, stopping your dash is very usefull but if your enemy moves slightly out of the way before you get to them then you would deal very little damage by just using a stomper without slow. But with the slow you can run up to them and deal 5k damage, easily killing them. This is the same with Darryls "Tar barrel". At 3:57 you say "WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO SLOW SOMEONE WHO IS RIGHT NEXT TO YOU? PLEASE... WHY?" and it is clear that you think of the gadget the wrong way. It is, as I have stated multiple times already, not used to slow someone who is right next to you. Instead it slows those who are CLOSE to being next to you, allowing you to get next to them. another usecase, or rather side effect it has is that it does not just make it easier for YOU to get the kill. it is also easier for you team to land shots on a slower target. In a cordinated setting this is really usefull. Say that you super into 2+ opponents, with 'Tar barrel" active the majority of their team is now slowed, and they are stuck that way until they either kill you (hard to do as Darryl is a tank, and the effect stays a while after you die) or if they maybe have a super or gadget to escape the situation (in which case you should not have rolled on them). During this period they are left very susceptible to crowd control from your team (Say a Tara super or emz attack). This can easily turn the fight around, or maybe even the whole game. For this reason you can often see profecionals use this gadget over the other one, even though "Recoiling rotator" is ofter better in hiest due to it's burst damage on the safe. All this being said "Recoiling rotator" is a very fun gadget to use, allowing you to chain supers and it is by no means a bad gadget. In fact, i would probably call that one the most fun one. I just think this Tar barrel slander is unacceptable and therefore i have written this to try to convince you that, it in fact, is not the bottom 20 gadgets in the game. I thought it would be very funny if i wrote a comment defending tar barrel with way to much text, and it was in fact very funny. If you can't tell i am a darryl main. Anyways great video! :3
