For anybody with broken steel, maybe most do this already, but it’s best to wait until level 30 for the perk where all your special stats go to 9 and then just go around picking these up for 10 on everything

I mean, it really isnt though, because most likely by the time you've reached level 30, you're done with the vast majority of the content within Fallout 3, its a fun thing to do once or twice, but you can build a pretty disgusting character in Fo3 without it.

@@sincereeastman6972 Protip, if you walk from vault 101 and follow the Potomac River down to Rivet City you can grab the Intelligence bobble head at level 2, just run from any enemies you find along the way so you dont gain any XP. Then you can do some questing early on in rivet city and totally skip over the GNR stuff if you want to,

I remember when I first played fallout 3 I was trying to get the energy weapons bobblehead and trying to cross the Potomac from the fort Constantine area and I kept dying from the mirelurks so then I when from the south where the five axles rest stop is and I am so glad that I went that way, I didn't get into raven rock from the outside but I make my most nostalgic moment in all of Fallout 3, I was traveling that ruined overpass and finding the abandoned car fort and the satcom arrays was the most Fallout thing I have ever seen, I miss those days

If you’re on pc and are okay with cheats, go to raven rock and use tcl to get through the rubble then turn it off to get into the door. Open console and click on the doors and type in “unlock” to open the locked door to level 2. That’s how I got it lol.

I’m actually doing a replay of the game. This is perfect since I’ve never fully gotten all of the bobble heads. When I got the strength bobble head, the door was open. I didn’t have to do any lock picking. I’m guessing if you wait until dark you can simply just walk in since he’s asleep

Old comment but actually its completely random on when the door unlocks. I usually just wait in 1 hour periods until it unlocks, and also won't count as trespassing.

my favorite way to get the strength bobble head will always be getting on top of the roof using the barrel by crater side supply then going in through the hatch up there its unlocked so you dont need lockpick or sneak

For the Strength bobblehead, you can enter the house without a key or lockpicking. Late at night Lucas goes home and his door is unlocked.

Or you can just disarm the bomb in megaton and then he lets you have free access to his house during daylight hours

I just tell simm that I can disarm the bomb,talk to burke (I think that's his name) then report him to simms,simms dies and I can get his keys and the sheriff costume

I coulda sworn i saw an old version of this way back when i first got fallout 3 and wanted to find all the bobbleheads but nonetheless i'm glad you still make videos about fallout 3. While i'm thinking about it i've got a video idea for you that i haven't really seen any fallout youtuber do and that's making a video or series of videos on where all the skill books are. If there was anyone to do it i think it would be you considering you had the patience to find all the steel ingots in the pitt lol

I think the main reason that almost no one tackles the skill books is because there's too dang many. If collectibles start hitting the hundreds, it's much easier to just look at a table of the locations to get what you need. In Fallout 3 it blew my mind that there's 25~ of each skill book scattered about! I tried it with Fallout 4's magazines, and unfortunately there's not enough search volume to justify it.

One edit: you can miss the Strength bobblehead if you neglect to grab it and decide to side with Mr. Burke, leaving Megaton a smoldering crater.

@Caedo Genesis 13:12 in my most recent game play, Where the turrents are. I gathered two barrel to climb aboard the upper level thats falling apart, also is the highest point of the the building. As there's nothing up there except a sweet look on an indoor parkour site in a game.

Video helped me a-lot. Should've seen this video earlier. But you know... I think I'm quite content with my Melee Build for my Lone Wanderer. I may not be able to level 100 all of my skills, but then again my character build's quite powerful and durable enough to charge the enemy head-on, and slam/slice-n'-burn them using the Super Sledge and the firery Shishkebab.

When I went to Simms house during the day it was fully unlocked and didn’t require breaking and entering but that could have something to do with the bomb being disarmed at the time

I recommend everyone wait until level 30 when you can pick the perk "Almost Perfect" which raises all of your SPECIAL stats to 9. You can easily get 10 in all SPECIAL stats if you get the bobble heads afterwards (skill bobble heads you should grab whenever). I've done this, and also had 100 in each skill as well.

My mod list has it so that the bobbleheads grant bonuses to stats rather than attributes. Eg, charisma grants follower recruiting regardless of karma Luck gives + 2.5 percent critical chance Agility +5percent move speed. That's a me problem, but it also reduces the number of ways to attain "god-hood" for a more immersive play style. Personal choices

Faster way to get to the button in National Guard Depot is after you enter and go up a level just before the room with the flag there's a collapsed stairwell use a barrel to get through the crack and access the top level and drop in on room with button

If you are gonna takealmost perfect at level 30, don't get the attribute bobbleheads until after you get to level 30, unless the stat is 9 already, as it will default to 9 even with the bobblehead

BONUS ROUND for STRENGTH: You may additionally agree to help simms, talk to burke and agree to blow it up, then go back to simms and tell him burke is gonna blow the town and you'll see how that pans out Plus you can always just finish defusing the bomb and walk straight into the house as its no longer locked for the player past that point

For the national guard I just used a barrel to jump on the top floor in the hallway where there is a robobrain and a turret. Hope this helps

For the first bobblehead you don't have to kill him or break in you can just wait until he's home and go in while he's there

You can actually skip the training and office section of Small Guns Bobble head on one the upper floors if you take one the oil drums that can be moved and lay it on a certain spot using it as a ramp to get to the floor above. Walk around drop through hole in the ceiling flip switch and go straight to the flashing lights door.

You don’t have to kill Lucas Simms or pick his lock to get the Strength bobble head. If you play your cards carefully and want to have a good karma run, you can get it by having Burkes kill Lucas, then kill Burkes and you get positive karma. Then loot Lucas’ body and grab his house key, there you go

Certain times of day Lucas Simms house will be unlocked so you can just sit outside his house and wait till it is unlocked I think its around 5-6 but not for sure.

Started playing fallout 3 again, and when I went to lucas simms house, he didn’t have a lock on it. So idk if it unlocks it after you disarm the bomb or what, or if its just a classic case of bethesda games having some features that don’t work as intended haha

What's the name of the music you use to some of your Fallout guides? I first heard it when i watched your guides to Fallout 1, like what i heard and tried to scourer the comment sections to see whether anyone else had asked the same question. As expected, no such luck.

The background track doesn't really have a name. I commissioned a few different composers for these tracks to help with brand recognition.
