I purchased these the same day I watched this review. Received them today and installed in 30 minutes. These are a must-have. Really opens up the back doors. You may need to trim the plastic trim and I say might and if you do, a razor knife and just a shave will do. Really just a nice addition for under $30.00.

I ordered these after seeing your video. Great product. I have a child in a wheelchair and I have to lift her into the Jeep. This product makes it much easier to get her in and out. They installed in a matter of minutes. Great product.

I normally don’t comment, but I got the back door extenders and I have to say it’s a great product. It’s amazing how two small brackets have made it so much easy for passengers to get in and out. Love what your doing and I will keep watching. Good looking out with that product.

2006 Wrangler Unlimited. I gotta say your channel has an authentic feel to it, humorous sometimes but most importantly, nothing is over presented as if you're getting paid to advertise a product......... I got the drop down panel from the same guy/website. Didn't come with instructions when I had bought it but the product is good quality. I went with "Jeep" as the cut out.

Just installed mine. Took about 10 minutes...total. Super easy and a great $30 mod.

Low cost, simple integration, and high impact - Great mod! With that said, I wanted to share that it's not an option for 2018/19 JL's. The brackets are tack welded to the body, not bolted on. The strap attachment is easier to reach but still short. Maybe the workaround is a longer limiting strap.

Weeell - I just got mine in !! Now in & done - way cool. Only diff was that on my JKU 2013, they were 10mm bolts not torx. Thanks guys - best $30 I have spent all day !!

There are a ton of small companies that make a ton of great products for our jeeps but sadly they don’t get the huge publicity that other big names like teraflex does. I hope this guy sells 1000 of these

I just installed these and they are great. Here is the problem...If you have Kargo Masters Safari Door Hinge steps, you can't open the rear door and open the front. They will hit. Not usually a big deal, but I thought I would give that warning. Still a good product.

FWIW, though Brittany is much easier on the eyes, Lite Brite is more about expensive mods and serious crawling; your channel is a lot of simple and useful mods as well as the pros and cons of some to make decisions easier. Keep up the good work.

Watch both channels, and I don't own a jk anymore and it will be some time before the jl shows up. Appreciate the humor in both, definitely appreciate the wheeling in both, I think the difference is you build it yourself vs having it done. Don't care about the yoga pants because it has nothing to do with building and wheeling. My 2 cents, tho it's worth even less. Thanks for doing these vids!

I got these a few years ago when I saw this video. Unfortunately both of the fronts have bent to the point of scratching my paint. I emailed the company and was told that I must have been 'leaning on the doors' or 'flinging the doors open and taking all of the weight'. I have never leaned on the doors. And there certainly could have been a time or two if my hands were full, the door opened to the max position under it's own weight. Absolutely never "flung" it open. That shouldn't cause them to bend the way they did if they were decent quality. They are cheap 3/16" steel whereas the factory brackets are 1/4". And those 1/4" ones were used for a few years before I go the extensions and they are still in perfect condition. Lesson learned.

Never heard of LiteBrite, now must go check it out. You should get a publicist kickback. 😜 The only thing I worry about with these brackets is if it will make it much more difficult for my kids to grab the door to close it.

I bought this on your recommendation. I have a 2017 JKU and it doesn't have Torx bolts, it has regular bolts. Also the bracket is too wide to fit in the slot where the old one bolts into. I just cranked it in there and made it work. It sticks out a little and I worried that someone will hook their leg on it and cut or gouge themselves. I'm thinking of taking them out and putting a few coats of plastic-dip on the ends.

Sold! One of my border collies doesn't even like to jump in the back seat because of the way the door sits in the way.

I was watching your older videos and found this one. Great mod and I have just received my Molle Platform Solutions 2007-18 JKU rear door strap extension brackets. It was easy to install them on my JKU 2016 Willys and it makes big difference accessing the rear door. Thank you for mentioning it and how's your new home?

That's awesome that mod cuz I hate my back door Jeeps I do camping and I sleep in the back of my Jeep so getting in and out because the door doesn't open all the way is a pain in the you-know-what.... and yeah you're back tailgate I would love that to be an addition for my Jeep then I could do more barbecue in or cooking right on my Jeep and not have to always look for a spot that has a fire ring.
