Even after playing the gamecube version years ago, it annoys me to realize I could've just jumped on one of the shine sprites to get the highest one without needing the super jump for the room with three of them.

The most hard to missed shine sprite is the Twilight town has an obscured view behind the Tree.

I never knew you could get that third Shine Sprite in the room with all the Spinias (and the one Spunia, I also like that they do a little dance) but without needing the Spring Jump Maybe that's a change in the remake? I remember you just had to use the Spring Jump in the original

my top three are goombella for the multi bonk and extra turn, yoshi kid for the dmg, vivian for the dmg piercing

for me it was goombella cause he extra turn helps against the tougher bosses like bonetail

Seeing shine sprites again makes me miss the gamecube era of Nintendo, it makes me happy to see games like TTYD, Metroid Prime, and Pikmin 1 + 2 make it to the switch.

My faves, Both Goombella and Yoshi kid (my color was black and aiming for either black or white due to them being the goats in yoshi's story named junior) both for their sass and outrageous damage output. Also a bonus for goombella being a dancer for mario via Rally Wink Admiral Bobbery For his backstory and comedy when he officially joins you.

The Shine distribution at the very start of the video took me by surprise. My partners had the exact same distribution before I finished the game. Poor Koops and Flurrie, but Vivian just needed the sprites more.
