It was awesome that you also made the second apron. Showing people how to basically make their own patterns from existing clothing. My mom would buy a pair of popular pants for me. Then take them apart and make me 2 or 3 more pairs. She was awesome

I love the two aprons! I thought about putting the opposite colors for the pockets on each side of the apron. I think that it would bring it all together even better!

My vote is the one you made from your own yardage. I love your tutorials! You always make me feel as if I can do anything, and that makes me not afraid to try something new. I hate watched many people make videos but you are by far, my absolute favorite! I wish you had taught me many years ago because if you had, I'd be sewing up a storm!!! Keep up the great work!

This brought back memories of making an apron when I was in middle school and made one that looks just like these in home ec. My favorite is the black with flowers. I'm so making this with my daughter. Thank you for all your great work Donna. I'm new to quilting so your work has inspired me to do more and how to line up my seam when I need them to.

I was starting to wonder as well!! But then I realize Donna makes these projects all within one week, and her son edits the videos for our viewing so image how quickly they get it all done!! It's so crazy that they produce this good of content within such a short amount of time.

Really Cute! I remember my grandmothers fusing around their kitchens and they always had on aprons of all different colors and patterns. I think I'll continue the tradition and make matching aprons for me and my granddaughter.

This tutorial was nice. I went to make a cup of tea, when I came back you were making a really pointy star quilt. I really loved watching this tutorial this is the first time I've watched a quilt made from the beginning to the end. What was especially nice was the free motion machine. I've always wondered how those designs were made.

Donna, I have missed your smile, as well as your simple and direct tutorials. Please have your son put up a text with something like "snowed under in Grants Pass, but back next week with a fabulous new tutorial" next time. Some of us follow faithfully and were concerned. This is a great tutorial. I love the one from yardage. I still have my grandma Stella's aprons. She passed in 1959 so they are too treasured to use. I will make this one. Maybe my granddaughter will treasure it. :)

I've watched a lot of your tutorials. Learned a lot. Love the fabrics you choose. I will make this apron for sure, but I think I'll measure and draw the curved lines on one side then fold fabric in half and cut both sides at once. Saving some time and both sides will be exactly the same.

I loved the yardage one the most but thought the other one would be a really cute gift for a “new sewer” to try. When a curve is needed, I usually get a plate, or pot lid, or bowl, etc. from the kitchen and trace the curve.

I really like the pinks and purples of the printed panel! I'm so happy that sewing is becoming trendy with the young folks again! I'm taught my children and now my grandchildren the basics of sewing just as my grandmother taught me. It became my passion!
