The delta footprint is a very important chart for order flow traders to analyze as it gives you a different perspective on how the market is really trading. Delta is the net difference between aggressive buyers and aggressive sellers and when you look at how traders are trading at price it really opens a lot of opportunity because now you can see areas of absorption in the short term that is happening right now.
Very few traders ever look at a delta footprint, but for some traders it is the only chart they need to find their edge in the market.

Hello Mike I really enjoy your video I'm French and I try to watch you video and understand what your say I want you to do a video and explain how can I use foot print chart to have 95% of win in reversel movement only I wanna trade reversel like the weekness of the market and how to get out quickly in the market. It's not possible to promise a 95 percent success rate using any trading method but to get a reasonable reversal rate you need sudden reversals with high volume and high delta which flips in the desired direction, a trapped value area and, if are trading crypto, high liquidations and a drop in open interest followed by positions entering in the desired direction. Apart from that it's a case of backtesting which is boring but which will give you the best trading ideas and results.

Mike, can your software run this delta chart, say on es, at the same time as a normal footprint chart?(to see both perspectives). Also, what are the system requirements for the orderflow software? Thanks

Who says there aren't? There definitely will be automated trading systems which use point of control, delta and prominence of buying or selling in making trading decisions. Whether they work is a different matter since any patterns of behaviour observed to succeed will depend on context which is difficult to automate. No algorithm can yet match the discretionary use of a mix of trading methods employed by a human at any tf humans want to manually trade. But anyway orderflow is best used to underpin an existing trading strategy - to indicate or otherwise what you expect will happen next.

This isn't a delta footprint chart as a lot of people understand it. A delta footprint chart is one in which a new candle is started after a prescribed amount of delta has passed, either positive or negative. How the commenter here intended it idk.
