@@YourHostJ Hi J, we just got back from Kauai on Saturday. It was amazing, thanks again for your help as I felt prepared. We also used our last day to go to Tunnels Beach and it was incredible! We definitely qa t to go again next year, I feel there is so much more to do and explore on the island. Hopefully covid is not breathing down everyone's neck at that time haha! We took the Captain Andy's cruise, we did Kauai ATV's, loved it! What's the next videos for you? Still on a Hawaii kick lol.

Hi! Thanks for watching! I'll definitely ask around. Take a look at craigslist and trulia. Those are the best options. Even Airbnb hosts have been providing great deals for long term since lots of their homes have been vacant.

@@flip2216 Oh my goodness! Didn't even think of that. My father quarantined with me and it was a LONG 2 weeks for him. I don't know how you did it at a hotel.

Your Host - J on day #9. I’m just lucky I have a patio. But ya in paradise finally but stuck in hotel jail. It’s working for the island though only 59 cases since this all started. I think the governor is wrong at opening the island back up the way he is on the 15th. There needs to be more testing once people land. Hopefully the Mayor can work something out with him soon or a feel there will be a huge jump in cases a few weeks after the 15th.

@@flip2216 I have faith in the Mayor. I think all the mayors are on the same page with wanting at least a 2nd test done. Hopefully the Governor rethinks his plan!

Hi Laurel! To be honest - that's a tough one. I guess it depends on what your children are into and also where you're willing to drive to. Say you live on the North Shore and you child is into gymnastics - you'll have to drive 40 min - 1 hour to the classes (one way). Sports is a really big thing on the island and that is a little easier getting kids involved since there are quite a few programs all over the island. Maybe get the kids involved in different things and see what they love the most? That's what I did. Thanks for watching! ❤️

I made a video on the Pros & Cons I've faced, but to be honest, moving from Southern California, maybe the traffic wasn't such a bad thing for me. At least the traffic has beautiful views. I don't wish CA's 101 traffic on anyone. Yes, unaffordable housing is a problem - same thing in CA. In the 6 years I've lived on island, I've never faced any racism. My children who go to school here all their lives haven't faced it either.
