Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's oldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, is a testament to their mother's parenting skills and acting abilities. Jolie adopted Maddox in 2002, and Pitt later filed to become his adoptive father after they began dating. Jolie has tried to maintain Maddox's connection to his home country throughout his childhood, even taking on the film adaptation of the Cambodian story First They Killed My Father at Maddox's request. Maddox is now 22 and is attending Yonsei University in South Korea to study biochemistry.
