If the MRI is not showing ligament tear but your able to dislocate the Shoulder and relocated easily then there is high possibility of ligament Laxity leading to shoulder dislocation. In this scenario generally the problem will be in both shoulders. the treatment will be mainly Rehabilitation exercises.

This is not an uncommon scenario. first control seizures with neurologist consultation... Then Shoulder issue has to be addressed with surgery.

Hi, my son started to have fits in 2013, because of that he may fell to the floor when fits take place and vigorous movement of whole body could have dislocated his shoulder. he is 29 yrs old this, year. He has been taught to put back the dislocated shoulder ball by slowing pushing it back into the socket. Off course it was a painful process. I was told by doctors in India that adults with fits, if they goes for surgery, it may nt help as he can go into fits again after surgery and hurt his operated shoulder. what are other ways that you can help my son to get better. Waiting to get a favourable reply. Tks.

Dont worry, this is a common scenario. Managing seizures is mainstay treatment. Continue the neuro medicines properly. Only when we get clearance from neurologist, we do surgery for shoulder dislocation.

பொதுவாக தலைக்கு மேல் கையை உயர்த்தி வீசுவது போல கையை அசைப்பது தான் விலகுவtharக்கான காரணம் எனவே அந்த positionயை (abduction and External rotation) தவிர்க்கவும்.

generally NO. make sure you don't get injury to that shoulder again. (poor tissue healing following first time dislocation, soft issue laxity, Younger age, associated glenoid bone loss predispose to re-dislocation)

இரவு தூங்கும் போது மூட்டு விலகுவது மற்றும் இதுபோன்ற தீடீர் அசைவுகளால் மூட்டு விலகுவது (தும்மல்,இருமல்,Sudden brake) மூட்டு ஜவ்வு பாதிப்பு மிக மோசமாக இருப்பதை உணர்த்துகிறது. எனவே இது மாதிரியான பிரச்சனைக்கு அறுவை சிகிச்சை செய்து கொள்ளவது தான் நிரந்தர தீர்வு.

இந்த மூட்டு விலகல் பிரச்சனை (SHOULDER DISLOCATION) பல வருடங்களாக இருக்கின்றது என்றால் அறுவை சிகிச்சை (ARTHROSCOPY SURGERY) மூலம் மட்டுமே அதை நிரந்தரமாக குணப்படுத்த முடியும். மருந்துகள் மூலம் அதை சரி செய்ய முடியாது என்பது உண்மைதான்.

அப்படி அறுவை சிகிச்சை செய்யாமல் தள்ளி போடுவதனால் பிரச்சனைகள் இன்னும் அதிகமாக ஆகி விடும். அருகிலுள்ள அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனையில் காண்பிக்கவும். நிறைய அரசு தலைமை மருத்துவமனைகளிலும் இந்த அறுவை சிகிச்சை இலவசமாக மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.
