You’re right. Anakin wanted to focus on his lightsaber techniques and mastering every form. He was too physical as a Jedi. Instead incorporating force abilities in his dueling, he left himself open for attacks but trying to tank them and bomb rush his opponents with form 5.

Dude keeping up high intensity lightsaber matches for a long time IS USING THE FORCE. He’s the master of the physical side of the force. Read the ROTS novelization, Anakin, Mace, Sidious, they’re all said to be moving faster than the eye can keep up with to a bystander who ISNT sunk into the force in said duel. Any heavyweight and top tier duelist IS fueling their onslaught with the force, like I said, Anakin was the master of the physical side of the force, most of his energy was spent fueling his physical onslaught with his lightsaber. This is really not that hard to understand. And even if somebody did draw back and use the force on him, he’d just out do them or tank it and close the distance to get close again and cut em down. He wasn’t worried about being caught by somebody’s force grip or a force push because his are stronger. He can outmuscle them. George Lucas literally said himself Luke would never be able to beat his father in force tug of war. A direct contest of strength. He was the strongest force sensitive ever. He focused most of that power into his saber combat, that’s why he overwhelmed almost everybody he fought insanely fast.

@@winterleia9027 Yoda can’t beat Sidious in a duel Sidious is the better duelist. His fight against Mace Windo he let him get the upper hand. Mace is a top tier duelist as well but in order to get Skywalker to fall to the dark side he plotted knowingly he would tell the council he was Sidious and not Palpatine. He gave the appearance he was unarmed about to die by the Jedi hands so Anakin would believe the Jedi code wasn’t true even to the Jedi Masters

I think anakin enjoys overpowering his opponents and had a will to best them with strictly swordsmanship and uses his strong connection to the force as a last resort. When he becomes Vader (with the suit) he uses the force much more often because he doesnt have access to the true fighting style of Anakin Skywalker due to limited mobility/range of motion.

@@pastelvinsona8668 It has nothing to do with screen time. It has to do with his past as a Jedi and how powerful he really was. He was considered the chosen one of the Jedi order before Anakin. The clone wars really helps express how powerful he was but we never really get an in depth look at how respected he was among the order and just as a character in general.

@@katakurifan5213 because the clone wars doesn’t set up a good framework in that department, as it doesn’t show Anakin using the force directly in any strong way very often. However, Dooku is a top 5 dullest in this time period. To duel him on equal footing using a form that gets countered by his form requires immense force strength and physical strength.

Yes a 20 year old anakin vs a powerful sithlord who was once one of the most powerful jedi high council master in jedi history. The fact anakin has been able to consistently survive 1v1 is astonishing in its own, let alone at times out duel him. I notice anakin became more dynamic, powerful and faster as the video progressed. By the end a season 6 anakin was able to survive a few seconds of lightsaber fights with Sidious which we saw in revenge if the sith many high council masters cannot say the same. Perfectly shows why by revenge if the sith he was able to outclass dooku and by order 66 no one in the temple could match him.

Vader had a vision in a comic. At full potential, he was able to slaughter the entire Jedi Council at the same time. He also zapped Sidious to death pretty effortlessly.

Anakin had all three. Obviously, not as wise as Yoda or skilled as Windu, but he definitely had all three. I'd say he was as experienced as Obi-Wan.

Sidious was worried about Ventress's potential. And he was holding back against Ahsoka to the point where he didn't even want to do minor offensive attacks. He didn't even kick back or anything he just dodged and blocked and use the complete opposite of his fighting style. Ahsoka would be completely melted if he tried even a tiny bit there.

That doesn’t mean he wasn’t a Sith lord. He just had more control of his anger. With eyes occur when a force user gives into his/her anger and the dark side of the force.

Why didn't they to you? I mean, the film fight scenes were pretty much the same as all the duels throughout the show. Betterment in technology, and good choreography is what upped the Lightsaber duels from the OT.
