Guys, most of the intro ones are referring to the “cipher hunt” a hunt where people would look for clues, left by Hirsch to find the coordinates for the treasure and cipher statue from the last episode. They are giving clues for the location in the backwards message. It was found in a forest in Oregon, but was moved to a place called Confusion Hill in California. The winner got I believe some treasure or something.

The backstory of Bill’s death message basically means there’s gonna be a season three because there was a book where dipper and Mabel meet an axolotl god in the axolotl. God told them that if Bill wants to come back to life, he just has to invoke the axolotl’s name

Just so ya know if ya didn’t....The Axolotl is a powerful extra dimensional creature whose power ranks massively above that of Time Baby, Bill Cipher, etc...He is mentioned by Bill, while he was being erased by the Memory Gun during the events of Weirdmageddon. I mean stan did shook his hands and made a deal with bill that he could take over his body(not knowing it's not ford). This might explain how at the bill cipher hunting we only could hear Grunckle Stan's recording voice, cuz they still have that deal and when bill said the deal's off it didn't went through cuz he's stuck to Grunckle Stan's mind so the deal still went through, bill just got destroyed by the memory gun and Stan's punch. Grunckle Stan is the only one bill can possess bcuz of the deal and his best chance of getting out of gravity falls. And I read this one comment how they said that the creators said something like bill encouraging stan to remember his forgotten memories within his subconsciousness so that by the end of it he might be able to fully remember bill or something like that. A good start for season 3 in the future or a movie lol

The visuals for the one where Bill says “A-X-O-L-O-T-L! MY TIME HAS COME TO BURN! I INVOKE THE ANCIENT POWER THAT I MAY RETURN!!!” really match what he is saying. Him glitching our is him burning, the rocks flexing that he turns into represent the ancient power, and him growing big and red shows how he will be more dangerous and angry when he returns.

Dipper asks about Bill Cypher, and the Axolotl replies "Sixty degrees that come in threes. Watches from within birch trees. Saw his own dimension burn. Misses home but can't return. Says he's happy. He's a liar. Blame the arson for the fire. If he wants to shirk the blame, He'll have to invoke my name. One way to absolve his crime. A different form, a different time." Triangles have 3 angles, each with 60 degrees. I don't know about the birch trees part. He calls out A X O L O T L to be reborn so that he won't perish forever.

alright lemme explain so if you get the book the time pirate book you will understand why he says axolotl because theres a page where dipper and mabel actually meet a god like axolotl and it gives dipper and mabel 2 questions, dipper then asks about bill and the axolotl rhymes about if bill invokes his name his crime will not be to blame and he will be in another form in another time which means bill was never gone, people suspect that bill is actually still in stanleys mind

Bill is one of the most well thought-out villains I know, he looks goofy and harmless at first but then you see those visions of him, scriptures, writings and dreams and realize he is the most powerful character in the series

I do love the ideas behind that character, but given how powerful he is, he really shouldn't have lost. I've seen a video on KZfaq titled "Bill's ONE mistake", and I'm like "which one? he kept making mistakes ALL THE TIME". He _obliterated_ Time Baby with a single blow, but didn't try to kill Dipper and Mable a single time, even after he knew they could get in his way. He's able to possess anyone except for Stan, and yet he didn't even try that. He lets low-level monsters handle his biggest enemies, instead of dealing with them himself when he could just snap his fingers to erase them. One thing I love in Weirdmageddon is the fact that he's stuck in Gravity Falls. It gives Bill a reason _not_ to kill his enemies. But before that? He could have ended the Pines every single time. Really, Bill comes in that category of "dumb enemies" we often see in kids' shows (Team Rocket, the Joker in Batman TAS, ...). Granted, it _is_ a kids' show. But The Lion King was for kids too, and Scar was everything _but_ stupid. Bill, on the other hand, was a stupid one. Still a cool character though.
