You can actually get the parachute cap badge right at the begining of world 1 too by going into the house you have to unlock.

Actually tip- its easier to use the invisibility while constantly doing a spin jump it makes a white ring around you in the air

I thought the "power-up badges" replaces the mushroom with the fire flower for example.

That's exactly what it does. The power-ups still *appear* as their original version but the effects will correspond to the badge.

Question for anyone who can answer! I haven’t watched the video, but I want to ask- is there a penalty for using badges in this game? Like when you would use the golden leaf in the older games it would leave a mark on the map screen for the stage you used it on.

No. They're not like easy modes. They're meant to be used

the only two disadvantages is a) expert badges seem useful but actually add difficulty [except for sound off] and b) you may regret choosing the badge you use and retry the course with a different one. some badges are great for getting coins or finding wonder flowers, but then your jumps and dashing might suffer. really though it's cool because theres like 30 ways to do each course, more or less.

I have a question. What counts as completed the game? for the last four boost badges you said complete the game but I have all 8 worlds check marked (meaning every level all 10 coins top of the flagpole and all wonder seeds) that is on my main account. On my other account I just beat the deep magma bog palace and had access to the last 4 badges via poplin shop and I didn’t even have every checkmark, I don’t understand why, if you know why please just 👇

At the end you have to push the green block where the floor is glowing. Then it will show a pipe. Go down the pipe and that will reveal the secret exit.

How do I get to the special world badge marathon? Every guide I've seen states that the requirement is to get every wonder seed, which I've already obtained, but I still don't see any way to get to this place. (for reference, I've beaten bowser, which automatically displays every stage thereafter , so I know I've done them all, unless the game is lying to me...)

Get every big 10 coin, beat the game, get every wonder seed and reach the top of the flagpole in each stage. You might also have to get every standee I'm honestly not sure where the game draws the line for these requirements.

The Game has been out one day… how about encouraging players to find these for themselves. Well I’ll be playing without a guide, (like the Gameboy days). Only games on switch that needs a guide that I’ve played are Metroid Dread and TOTK. But come on, this is a Mario Game. 😂😂

actually most of these are pretty hard to miss, and a lot of times you might need the wonder seed you get from beating the challenge. i like these guides for times like now where i've defeated bowser and I want to see what I'm missing, though maybe leave out the parts where it shows how to get them and just list them and effects

@@RyanABXY Cool. Yeah I hear your point, I’m not against guides, but putting this video out literally one day after The Game has been released… come on. I’m sure people won’t die if they can’t figure out something in a game… there’s a lot of fun and reward in progressing in a game, especially if it seems near impossible at first. It good for the inner being, being able to do things yourself :) in Games but also applies to real Life.
