I love the thought you put in your list, instead of ranking all of the bosses just on difficulty alone you ranked on personality, music, design, and how hard the boss's were which really made your list unique rather than boring. I also didn't really think about how grim actually wasn't trying to fight you and yea him and others deserved to be that high on lists like these lastly prairie dogs.

Dude I LOVED Dr Kahl. It was so difficult and such a grind but it was so much fun. Can’t not mention how satisfying it is to finally see that knockout screen. I would rank it as a top 10 boss atleast! Same with Grim Matchstick, both super fun bosses! Great video tho!

I remember I initially didn't like the twist of Chef Saltbaker at first when I played the DLC, because it seemed predictable from a writing pov. Then I realised this was Cuphead and the enjoyment comes from the sheer effort the team puts into the art and music and design of the bosses! All this to say Chef Saltbaker is a banger final boss and well-deserved to be so high on your list!

Glumstone the Giant is one of my favorite bosses in the game because of the cool concept and how much multitasking is required. To dodge the Goose attack, you have to move to the bottom level, time it right and keep moving to not get hit by the gnomes. As for the Bear attack, if you stand on the very right edge of the second-closest pillar, the bear won't hurt you. I think what you said about Grim Matchstick also applies to Dr. Kahl's Robot. I think's it's a well-designed fight that just requires a lot of practice. I found both of these bosses really intimidating at first, but now after hours of practice I really enjoy both of them.

I love Grim too, and I’m a glad to see someone else who thinks his fight isn’t that bad if you just manage to have good timing and reflexes. In reality he has very few attacks from every phase, it’s just the clouds that, very rarely make this fight unfair. Not to mention how much fun his personality and music are Edit: also definitely agree Howling Aces is one of the best (especially since my favorite NPC canteen Hughes is there)

i agree also with grim matchstick! I love his soundtrack, his fight, all his phases are fun to fight, his personality is nice, and he's cool. also i use converge and crackshot

Im glad that there’s someone in the universe who likes Grim Matchstick. He has always been my fav boss in the games it always bothered me to see him at the bottom of the ranking

Loved the ranking, you really explain your reasoning well! I am always a bit confused as to why Floral Fury gets hyped up so much though. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing track, but there are many other cuphead songs that I consider to be just as good if not better.

Wally Warbles reversed: A bird chillinng, and a clock comes out of it. Timers come flying at you The clock shoots cogs at you Then it shoots numbers Then there is a watch for the third phase, and it has cogs surrounding it then some mechanics come in the last phase

Wally Warbles for me is easily the best boss. Feels the most cartoon, which is the style of Cuphead.

Surprised you didn't count the secret phases, each of them adds something. Root pack: Shows the onion really doesn't want to fight, makes him the only enemy willing to leave you alone. Djimmi the great: adds the least, but good for a laugh. Sally Stageplay: You can alter the course of her play, and it shows she cares for her husband. The Howling Aces: The most difficult to access, but actually makes the final phase easier since the camera isn't affected. As if the pilot is going easy on you for not shooting her pups out of the sky.

Tbh this game has my fav line-up of bosses, it's my second or third fav game ever All bets are off is my fav level in game. Video called: "King Dice, The Suavest Villain In Video Game History" is one of the reasons why that is.

Grim even warns you in his last phase “1 2 3… you better flee”. He wants you to be safe!!

Finally finished up the video and while I disagree with some of the points made your list is still great and I loved listening to your reasons. Also wow, never seen a list with Wally that high. Some of my takes: I think all the bosses are really great, I found none of them bland except Goopy who I think blandness’ helps him stand out. He was the boss I beat first and as someone who sucks as games I found him pretty hard but satisfying. I’d def rank him and the root pack higher for being great tutorial bosses. Imo , Rumor Honeybottoms less oblivious and more “by messing with my contract your messing with my most important resource: honey. And I won’t allow that.” If that makes sense. Honey is money. Many, I think most, of the DLC bosses breach my top 10, possibly 5.

Great list. I wish more people would be able to like Grim Machsick and Dr. Kahls Rrobot more. I don't think they should be hated because they are super hard. Still don't like Rumor Honeybottoms.
