It felt like they were trying to go with a story but after a quarter of the way through it just gave up on it. Which is a shame even if a story is bad I would stick around until the end. However when they just gave up on the story I quit caring.

@@Megaraptor18 I think why they just gave up because Vanguard was pretty much failing. No one really cared for Vanguard and didn't want to play it. Sledgehammer took notice of this and since Vanguard wasn't doing good, they just gave up. That's what I think happened. Some others think the same thing

I agree I remember when they were putting out trailers Or it was the devs talking about vanguard On explaining Is how they was gonna expand it Season 3 and 4 don't make sense at all. But I just take some factors out of it Like season 3 was Kong and Godzilla But that was just an event so I excluded that. But then what justifies that is when butcher says something far more powerful than any of us could ever imagine. What could have been and that? And the titans fit that description So we don't know. But the cannon is that season 3 in the map Caldera was stormy so I take that as a yes. Season 4 doesn't make sense to me But my best guess is when you look at captain's butcher's back story It shows him in the Where the Vanguard campaign Phoenix took Place And he was in the same building where task force vanguard was finding about info about project Phoenix He was there and he took pictures of something. So he got what he needed before he sent his task force. basically sent them to die or find Nothing about Phoenix, and they were fighting over gold. That part I can't really explain Unless they realized what he was doing, he would go to missions before he sends them and technically backstabbing them.That's my best guess thats whats kind of makes sense to me Because in season 5 just ignore the villains from the future, caldera erupts part of the task Force that he made The characters are chill with him while the others are not for An example anna Drake in season 4 was against captain butcher They were fighting, but in season 5 her team members Gustavo's de santos was with him in season 5 chill not Fighting against him, same thing with Florence fighting against captain butcher in season 4 and her team member Kim tae young was not Fighting him So part of their team members know that he probably a bad guy or hes turning on them somehow, or they don't like what he doing and the others just don't know anything it makes sense. If you put it like that, but still we really don't know. What did it really decided to do in the end of Vanguard's life cycle? But the best reason for it is that people disliked Vanguard. So they just decided to do whatever. So people really wouldn't care for the story of Vanguard and they just gave up, which is the theory that everybody accepts Sadly

No. They didn’t. They were originally making Cold War with Raven, but Treyarch took over half way through, so they had to throw together Vanguard in just over a year or two…

@@Minchken Since there's not gonna be another COD Game in 2023, I'd say this is the only Opportunity for them to finally make a Story DLC/Expansion for the very 1st Time, But on the other hand, I utterly doubt it, because Developers these Days are only going to be putting a lot Work and Money into making more new Cosmetics for Guns, Operators, Skins/Camos and Maps for the Multiplayer and Warzone 2.0, So having a Story DLC/Expansion are very Low, guess we'll be stuck with only 1 Bare Bones Campaign Story (even though it's Great) that can be Beaten in under 4 or 5 Hours unless you crank up the Difficulty Level in either Veteran or Realism that'll give you an Extra 8 or 9 Hours of playtime even though you'll be Dying a lot of Times (it sounds Masochistic as hell, but it's for the Best).

@@krit6678I agree. Cold War’s WZ story was better. MW19’s was OK for a first attempt, but Cold War blows it out of the water in terms of how interesting it is. Stitch’s beef with Adler alone is more captivating than anything in MW19’s Warzone arc.

@@Lung-Stealer It doesn't really matter. Adler and Bell both drawed a gun on each other at the end of the Campaign where the crisis was avoided. Adler is still alive so it's clear that Bell was shot point blank.
