Best clean straightforward explanation of cases I have seen. Alot of other videos I've seen talk around the point with verbose explanations. You were very clear and concise about that difficult topic and after just 1 view ( I need to re watch to absorb info), I feel like it is within reach. Thank you!

Great as an overview, but a lot is really left out of the basic explanation - subject/object, plurals, exceptions, animals are also animate and others. Hope there are more detailed lessons to come. (Also. Check spelling on accusative and genitive.)

@@blinschool7993 I am from Turkey, and as you may know, people from the former Turkic Soviet countries typically know Russian. Additionally, I am a PhD student in history and am particularly interested in USSR history. I believe my russian proficiency level is between A1 and A2, and I am currently studying the prepositional case.

Thanks for the video and there is something I couldn’t understand well. Я занимаюсь спортОМ. Я вижу камерУ. They are both “I do something”. What’s the difference between them? (I know it’s a stupid question)

No it’s not stupid Don’t worry It’s just after занимаюсь you need to use instrumental always. Consider it to be a rule. After this particular word it is always ОМ ending or Ой (занимаюсь йогой)

A lot has been skipped over and/or overly simplified in this video. You never mentioned the case endings for plurals or adjectives. And barely touched on the masculine accusative singular animate. Its more than peoples names that change in this case, its all living things. Anyone watching this that is learning russian, don't get too happy. Russian cases are much more complicated than depicted here.

@cw4608 Why would I do this disservice to russian learners? I am not a native russian speaker, nor am I an expert in the russian language. I know enough to know that I dont know it all. But I also know enough to know that this video omits or glosses over important information. If you want in depth but easy to digest grammar instruction, check out the channel Amazing russian.

did you even watch the video? she mentioned that they are more complicated during the video, and that this video isn't meant to be comprehensive. she says she spends months tutoring people on EACH case. if you have a short attention span, and basic language goes over your head, cases might be a little too advanced for you.
