Just finished the film 10 minutes ago. It's so much more emotional now 😭 The only reference I noticed was missed was the line "all my logic said I'd never see you again". To be that guy and super particular haha. But really cool idea to pick out all the references!

Adam Young is a musical genius. Amazing stuff, this is possibly the best owl city song because of its inspiration and so many amazing references to cast away.

Windsor Airlift's "Waves Spent on Breathing" is also full of audio from this movie (the Selections for a fallen soldier vol2 version, not the "Flight" version. I love that Adam's love for Cast Away found its way into Owl City now.

What did he mean by "I never should've gotten out of the car". I;ve not seen the movie but read its plot summary. Was he referring to the trip to Malaysia, like, he should not have went on that trip?
